- New York City: Highlights from Frieze Art Fair...
I actually really enjoyed Frieze New York this year. I thought all of the galleries brought some very interesting works and there was something special on every floor.
If you're new to my channel, when I attend art fairs I like to highlight works that I think are interesting, but it's challenging for me to go into greater detail about the artist. However I've left the names and galleries of everyone mentioned on the screen below if you'd like to do additional research yourself.

A multi-coloured slice of time, that actually slows time! Thank you, as always, Mary Lynn!
You are so wonderful when it comes to saying nice things about bad art.........LOL

I love your videos, thank you for sharing them. I may not be able to hop on a plane and go see all the beautiful art but this is definitely the next best thing. Thank you Mary!

Hi Mary Lynn,
Really cool you're going to Stockholm, welcome to my city!
Some of the Cattelan pieces currently on display at Moderna Museet are very nice. You also got Belinde de Bruyckere at Artipelag and Millesgården is a lovely sculpture park full of art by Carl Milles. If you have the time I would also check out the Stahl Collection in Norrköping, which in my opinion is Sweden's best in contemporary art.
Let me know if you need a guide!
Although I love your valued verbal insights into the exhibitions, it was interesting to just silently observe this time,
Me gustó Condo y Bradford
Gosh, I actually liked some of the work.
The bar ia definitely very low!
👏
❤
Well said. High end decor. L.a. has art exhibited for arts sake alone. Costs of everything.. in n.y. have people fleeing like rats from a sinking ship. I suppose galleries have to exhibit what sells above all, to stay in business. ( there's room for both art & decor i.m.o.) especially with the advent of a.i. & new ideas that may arrive in contrast from it, needs to be shown.
🥰🥰🥰
😎👌🖐❤
I'm thinking the fair visits might be the most difficult to film and also it must be quite a task to assimilate what you've seen!
confession: looked up Nate Lowman.
cheers! ciao
try to take more time behind paintings, three seconds for george condos part it's not normal... ( excuse my english )
Thank Mary, free world needs free Art and artist Who has No rules, Art karhu, artbear.
You blocked my view of the George Condo? I don't care how nice your outfit is, don't stand in front of Condo. (That was a joke. Please don't come after me, people).
Thank you as always for posting, but again, don't stand in front of the Condo.
How odd. Normally, Robert Mangold comes off as a formalist, one of the last stalwarts of modernism. In this company, however, Mangold looks like a radical. Frieze is rife with revisionism. Old tropes rear their ugly heads. _"The problem with young artists today is they treat art history like a toy box."_ - Donald Judd
Everything looks tacky, uninspired, unfinished and dirty. Looks like everybody copied each other homework. Who would be willing to pay millions for these so called artworks? They're not even pleasant to look at.
Does seem underwhelming. There will always be some exceptional pieces but an awful lot of dross in the mix.
the voice is too annoying= maybe its the suitable voice for the art. Tomorrows kitch
So far, the rich world's artists and galleries have successfully shut their eyes and ears to the Gaza Massacre; thus making themselves increasingly irrelevant.
To you
