- Hi! In this 2-minute DBD guide, I go over how to play against Unknown; the newest killer added in Dead by Daylight's All Things Wicked Chapter(7.6.0 Update)!
The Unknown is a mix between Singularity's ranged gun, Nemesis' infection, and Hag's map movement.
His main power is inside chases (which you can counter similar to Huntress mind games), so if you dispel the hallucinations around objectives and work on gens you shouldn't have a hard time against him :)
NOTE:
To clear up potential confusion, the "UVX Balls" I mention in the video are officially called "UVX projectiles" đ

Here are some other tips worth mentioning against The Unknown :)
- Remember that the cooldown for shooting another ball is 7s so you don't need to dodge for that amount of time
- Starting down the killer isn't as tedious as revealing Ghost Face, as long as the killer is on your screen the weakened meter will go down
- Another good time to dispel a hallucination is when the killer is busy in a chase, which you can see with the entity claws moving on the survivor HUD

I've got a good one for you that I feel is going to get many survivors downed. Be sure you understand that his ability is an AOE. That means he can shoot the uvx at one side of a wall and if you are directly on the other side, you'll get hit by the AOE. I've seen numerous videos of survivors working on gens behind a wall and the killer shoots the projectile at the other side and the AOE damages through the wall. Lots of awesome shots you can get like that if you know how to predict the survivor's movements.
Now if we could only get ppl to follow this guide.

This killer is kinda OP you canât even loop a pallet without getting hit
huntress hitting thru a wall multiple targets, also across the map, 4.6 speed with almost insta tp and no slowdown while using ability, yes seems pretty legit to me.
@@razeu Huntress is bullshit because the character hitboxes are twice the size of the actual model. She can thread the needle by throwing her hatchet through 2 fence posts, but you can't thread that same needle as a survivor. If you take a sharp turn and are clearly behind cover, it still counts as a hit.

Personally I think heâs over-powered. He should be slower, like 4.4m/s or something. Like he shouldnât be a 4.6m/s killer if heâs got range, with basically no cooldown and no need to reload, especially since he can teleport. đ

Ye, this killer needs a massive nerf, he's too fast to need the teleport, or if they let him keep it, remove his ranged attack, he basically just takes the abilities of 4 killers, and does them better...
you forgot the unknown can feather his m2 and not slow down at all to bait you into running back into him, and when his hallicinations are crumpled on the floor, he can't teleport to them

Heâs definitely op Iâve played about 10 games and only had 2 decent ones . It feels like he has no cool down after hitting you with the ball thing. Then for some reason most of the match he had no terror radius or red stain ?
Yup you pretty much have to leave short loops every 13 seconds or you will lose a health state, also his teleport feels overpowered, just instantly teleports to you, it should have a 3 second animation or something atleast
He has a perk thst lets him put his terror radius on a gen for 30 seconds

and then sometimes theres situations where you lose distance trying to dodge the ball and then he just m1s you anyway it feels like a lose lose

Unknown has huge range and the explosion thingy covers a lot of ground
+ if he misses heâs still right behind you and gets to hit you anyway, not to mention hes 115 for some reason even though he can teleport and has massive range

AOE range too, no less. Zero fun to go against for me- makes the DC penalty appealing every match lol

Yes this is exactly what I said I was like okay give him ranged ability or teleport ability but not both because as soon as you lose 1 survivor your basically screwed and survivors that aren't very good at running or looping are just fodder
Deathslinger has a gun that shoots a lancer.............THAT'S IT! The Unknown can instantly teleport and he can teleport right next to hooked survivors. His teleport can be used in chase so he can cut off survivors. He can hide his husks so he can teleport and instantly ambush you from unsuspecting angles. His ranged attack has a big AOE effect that can hit multiple survivors. His ranged attack can be shot over most obstacles, it can bounce, and it can hit survivors through walls. Aiming his ranged attack doesn't slow him down and after he shoots, he can instantly swing his melee attack. He can aim his ranged attack in front of survivors so dodging it helps him instantly gain ground in chase. His ranged attack's AOE can help him easily target you going through choke points, doorways, and tight corridors.
Mind as well give Deathslinger a rocket launcher at this point.
Heâs definitely a little over powered his ball shouldnât bleed through walls and hit u and it shouldnât bounce itâs just unfair cuz u literally canât counter him he can literally easily force u to stop lopping a area unless u get hit they gotta make it so heâs heavily slowed while use his orb or it doesnât go through walls

0:27 One advanced tip I saw playing as Unknown: You can 99% the weakened status effect before expiring then just look forward and press W. If you hear him using his power, look at him, and remove the debuff instantly resulting in wasting time for the killer.
I don't see the a point in doing that tbh. The result will be the exact same if you would get rid of the weakend status instantly
Love your tips man, but honestly this killer overpowered. No matter how many times you dodge his uvx he has no cooldown, can just keep teleporting, and the radius with the uvx is so big that even if they miss thereâs still a HUGE chance they can hit you.

So i have to look back while looping, not run into objects and still loop? and i should dodge his power but not get hit by m1? this killer is too op, unless huntress who actually HAS TO HIT U with a hatchet, this killer can just shoot close by and u are still hit. insane

He has lower ranger, he's punished more for missing, on most pallets he can't hit if it's dropped, he needs to hit twice for dmg.
And he can't zone nearly as good, + his addons are mostly shit.
Only times he has an advantage over Huntress is in hold w without pallets or obstacles as his projectile is easier to confirm, and in loops or pallets where you can bounce off the wall.

If the killer is close enough to be able to aim the ball at your feet and you can't dodge it, I would say to try and move side to side in an unpredictable manner!
