I LITERALLY GREW UP IN THE KITCHEN, baking, cooking, shopping for produce, etc. So, it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As I got older, middle school and beyond, I was and am still shocked that some people just never learned to cook. I think it's one of the most important life skills.

I agree with you Jenn! I think cooking is a necessary skill for everyone. Not saying you have to be a great chef but just enough to feed yourself. You definitely get better as you cook more often!
Hi Ben! Curry is beautiful - if you want to take it up a notch you can fry off some onion, garlic/ginger paste and the curry powder to toast all the flavors and then add the coconut milk. It will thicken up and you can roast the veggies in the oven during! I find it helps with the flavor profiles a lot :) Lennon is so cute!!

My dad had the perfect balance, he played along with the âstoryâ of Santa without ever telling me he did or didnât exist and he did this until I was old enough not to spoil it for anyone else. I am so thankful for that because my parents never lied to me. I was raised in a home where Jesus was the centre of Christmas and everything else really and I was encouraged to make my own decision about Him too. Ok I do have to point out that is it amazing how you and Ben communicate with each other. The way he calmly repeated himself that you should reverse is so important. I noticed this immediately because in some relationships the partner often times gets frustrated after repeating themselves a second time and start shouting or saying negative things. And this is such an important thing in relationships! So yeah.

I've been following you since 9-10 years ago when you were a lot about the fashion hauls, thrift hauls, the college stuff.. your conversation with Ben at the dinner table got me tearing up a little cuz I thought about how long it's been since I followed you and how it's like I've grown with you. From trying to find ourselves and who we are in our younger days through fashion and dressing up, to adulthood, into dating, marriage.. and now into motherhood. I've learnt so much from you through each and every one of these phases, and I'm getting married and getting my own home soon and learning more about relationships and marriage through you and Ben, so much so that I get my partner to watch some of your videos with me.
Definitely looking forward to my next stage of life which will hopefully be motherhood. Here I am, absorbing all you and Ben have said in this video, nodding along as I usually do in your videos.. except it's no longer about a thrift store haul and how to dress a certain way. Looking at you learn about motherhood through experience alone and sharing it with all of us is truly a beautiful thing. You're doing great, mama (and papa)! Never had a tree or the concept of Santa (raised Jewish and am now Muslim) but I find Christmas wildly charming. Awww I love that feeling! Iâve been doing the same thing with the movies and shows I love, and I always find myself noticing things Iâd not seen before, or rediscovering them. Iâd already watched avatar the last airbender over 30 times before we started dating (a discussion for another day lol). since some of my last rewatched happened while I was folding laundry or cooking, watching it again made me appreciate all the little animation details like pacing, expressions, etc. i fell in love with it all over again! Iâve had this experience with a few things :) although itâs also made me more consciously critical of movies I already was aware were âproblematic,â like breakfast at Tiffanyâs or love actually

"Gifts" get so much hate as a love language, but I think as a "giving" part of my love language it's probably fairly high! I love getting gifts for my husband and family đ€đ€ it's probably lower on my receiving end, but I also love to know my husband took time and thought through what I would like. It's not about expensive gifts or lots of "stuff". It can be that a certain piece of clothing got old and it needs replaced, or he gets me something edible/something that gets used up like skincare! I think my lowest might actually be "quality time" because I love being around my loved ones doing literally anything. We don't need to be talking or getting deep for me to feel connected.
In Chinese we call broccoli and cauliflower similar things, so itâs pretty easy to deduce that theyâre related.

I loved watching your pregnancy journey as I was going through my own pregnancy. Now here we are in our own parenthood/motherhood journeys. âșïž How you feel about Lennonâs grown out clothes is how I feel about my daughterâs. Sheâs about to turn 10 months old on Christmas Eve and her 1st birthday is fast approaching on February 2023. Time truly flies. đ„ș Makes me emotional to think about how much sheâs grown, especially since she was wearing preemie clothes in the early days. Even more so of all the memories weâve made so far with as a family, as sheâs our rainbow baby. đđ
