Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is a first-person shooter video game developed by Sledgehammer Games and published by Activision. The game is set to be released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Funny how this campaign is so much better than Ghosts campaign, which is supposedly written from an award winning writer.
The ending to ghosts was MUCH better in my opinion. The gameplay in this campaign was better than ghosts, but the ending was weak IMO. Like you totally expected that you would kill him, and I don't know why you get carried around near the second half of the mission then somehow go in full spring after the water of Atlas... It simply was predictable and over dramatic. But, on the ghost side, I'm pretty sure no one expected that ending and it was making me want a sequel more than this game tbh.

Im Gravity The ending to Ghost was worse than this one in my opinion. With this ending, it was predictable that you'd end up killing Irons and it was a little overdramatic but at least it made sense. Mitchell needing to be helped around near the second half of the mission but then being able to run after Irons can at least be explained that he needed more time to get himself straightened out from the aftermath of destroying the rocket and adrenaline helping him out. Ghost ending was full of so many holes that it just frustrated me. Roark managed to survive a train wreck, managed to survive a .44 caliber shot to the chest and then managed to get out of the water by himself and sneak up on you and your brother without either of you noticing until he kicks you in the face and drag you across the ground. It may have been a better ending in terms of making you want another game to see what happens, but it was worse overall than this one.
Im Gravity ghosts ending was dumb. How can someone take a bullet from a .44 magnum at point blank range to the upper chest then survive a crash which would result in him drowning to then have more energy than the player and carry you through the desert bleeding out? How is this ending good?

This and Ghost endings both insinuate there was going to be sequels but they never happened.
The game's ending seemed like a combination of the three MW endings.
Stopping a missile = Trying to stop the ICBMs from launching in MW.
Chasing Irons and getting injured in the process = Chasing Shepherd and getting injured during MW2
Charging the HQ of Irons to avenge Cormack with ISTs = Charging Makarov's HQ during the end of MW3 with Juggernauts to avenge Soap.

When it comes to the cutscenes i agree the graphics looks like real life no cap, I was so shocked when i learned that this game was from 2014 when I first played i thought the game was from 2018 or something. But when it comes to Gameplay graphics its not good, if you look at the faces of Gideon and Ilona when in gameplay and not in a cutscene it looks bad.

Absolutely jaw dropping greatness, in my opinion it was a very well designed campaign with cool weapons, vehicles and voice acting. Hate me if you will, but even though this may have been only the second game campaign I've ever completed it was pretty cool. Played Grand Theft Auto V before this and then this and that was it, never was a fan for campaign of games I get bored very quickly. I have to say kudos to Sledgehammer Games their official first ever Call Of Duty game and it really was spectacular. Weapons, campaign, zombies and exo survival I can't wait for the sequel. As for everyone else we all live in a world where we have our own preference so just because some people hate some things in life it doesn't give us the right to hate on them.

Tarrett Ricks Fighting games create new types of combo's and are made virtually different from other types of fighting games. Racing games like Mario Kart and Need for Speed...use your imagination on that one. Sports games have no innovation since the street series died, so there's nothing to really build off of there. While COD over here rehashes plot points from old games in the franchise and does nothing innovative at all.

When Gideon said “just one” at the start like ohhhhhhh shieeeet he mad. The characters felt so much more real I guess cause they based the characters so closely off the real life actors that played them. We cared even more about these people, plus the cinematic cut scene designs were just stunning.

I am not the biggest fan of linear games (this one was pretty decent) but I like to be given the choice of how I would like to end the story (like how Watch_Dogs did for example, even Black Ops 2). But nope, we live in a world without choices. I mean I guess Sledgehammer had a pretty strong first effort.

I know this game isn't exactly accurate as physics goes, but I think it's funny that they had to unload to destroy the rocket engines, when in reality, it would really only take 1 bullet that punctures the cone. And since they pipe fuel around inside the cone before igniting to cool the engines, fuel would be spewing all over, causing an explosion. So, even if they had to unload on the engines, they still should have exploded.
I mean really they should have never made it to the rocket I don't care what kind of mech suit your wearing but the amount of force those engines were putting out should have flattened them against the back wall

Damn, I'm not really into these Call of Duty games, I think they recycle the same game every year with just new guns add to the list, but this game is an exception. It's fucking amazing. The graphics are so realistic I thought I was watching a live action movie. The story and characters are really like able and I actually cared for them, unprecedented by my other gaming experiences, except for MC in Halo. Overall, I think Advanced Warfare has the best story of the COD series, nearly a 10 out of 10.
i would say advanced warfare and cod 4: modern warefare are the best call of duty games i like all of them but in the overall story and or multiplayer (havent seen multiplayer yet for advancedwarfare) i feel they did it right i would say mw2 is next story wise, then mw3 (not really for story just because it started the badass last level design xD)

Many of the advance technology of this game reminds of Halo, specially the armor from last mission, the drop ships and those gigantic air carriers I saw a couple of missins back when the sentinels stormed New Baghdad.
I still reckon the Modern Warfare series was better but Advanced Warfare had a solid campaign though!

They will because originally the games would be released on a two-year cycle starting with Infinity Ward and Treyarch. Prior to Advanced Warfare's release Sledgehammer Games was planning a Call of Duty game but they cancelled it to help Infinity Ward make Modern Warfare 3. So now with the inclusion of Sledgehammer Games' Call of Duty Advanced Warfare the franchise will now run a three-year cycle in the following order: Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch (Who will be making next year's Call of Duty which may be a Black Ops III or whatever it is that they'll make) and Infinity Ward's next one will be in 2016 with Ghosts 2 so we won't see an Advanced Warfare 2 until 2017.

I don't know about CoD really, I've never liked it...but the detail of the models and the graphics are absolutely astonishing.

I have to say Brad, this is the best FPS campaign mission that I’ve seen in years. Generally speaking, games like this bore me rigid. Truthfully, I can say that I’ve enjoyed watching most of this and it’s the first game of it’s type which has generally impressed me in a long time. Almost all I find to be painfully overrated. This has been a solid 8/10 from start to finish.

The Philosopher I finished it in 6 hours. It would have been less but I had to mess with my headset to get it to work again. Now that is sad.

I liked the new cutscenes where you actually see the face of the soldier you're playing. I think they most of filmed the scenes in live action with actors then CGI render them to make it look cool

I feel a bit sorry for him. Irons was only trying to fix the worlds problems and lets face it America does start and involve themselves in alot of wars. if he went a bit different approach he would have been claimed a hero.
