Honestly, my issue with Limbo is the fact that it's REALLY hard to tell if an enemy is in the rift. Like I wish they gave them more pronounced outlines, so you could tell more easily.
I wish that anyone not on the same side of the rift as you become semi transparent, so not only can you visibly tell who you can shoot, your view of the people you can hit never becomes obscured.
Another thing to note is that your Operator is never in the Rift, so for hacking consoles, mobile defense terminals, etc. you can remain safely in the Rift and just pop out with the Operator to hack. So in usage, if you're in a random squad with a Limbo that has Cataclysm up for some reason where there's an elevator keeping you from using it, or you can't plug in the datamass thing in mobile defense inside a Cataclysm the Limbo casted too early, your Operator can still do it. Lastly, if you're Banished by accident (or not by accident) by a Limbo, you can dodge (roll) to escape the Rift.
I fucking love that they gave one of the most unique and useful frames for a quest. great game developing. I use to think this game was pay to play but I was mistaken. but I have drop cash on plat since just because I was convinced it was worth it and I've been having a ton of fun on this game.

I watched like 10 videos about Limbo and still could not understand because they keep focusing in builds, abilities numbers and where to use it instead of how they work.
When it comes to energy color, I’m fond of a dark purple primary with a light blue secondary. Not only do I like the color combination, but the dark purple isn’t that visually-intrusive, while the light blue swirls still allow players to know where the boundaries of Cataclysm are. (This is for Limbo Prime. As default Limbo’s Cataclysm doesn’t have the secondary swirls that Limbo Prime’s Cataclysm does.)
Limbo is the best warframe for solo games where you sometimes have to leave real quick to do something (check meal, answer phone call, etc). When playing with other players and you got to leave, you can safely stay at the extraction point in the void, knowing that you are practically untouchable and hence, not likely to die. If you decide to walk away during a game though before reaching extraction, there is always a chance that you will complete the mission but lose all rewards and bonuses. So best not to always leave a game before extraction. I did it once successfully to date, but wouldn't press my luck. It can be rude to other players.
i was just playing yesterday and it seems i entered the rift by accident and didn't know and couldn't do any damage whatever i do and thought the game crashed or sth

Nice simple guide to start with for newer players. Could be cool if you made an advanced guide with minimal duration build and power strength builds on top, a couple of arcanes for the frame and the operator, the use of Rolling Guard (essential mod for me with Limbo) and some tactics. But it is a very nice guide you did.
My primary use for limbo is the nightwave target of getting three rounds of index without the other team scoring. A limbo protecting the target with stasis and cataclysm pretty much guarantees success.
Do not drop him, please. He is one of the niche frames that is very very good. But because people do not understand how he works, he is under used. Same could be said of Nyx, Vauban Zephyr (best tank in the game) or Banshee.Limbo is totally OP whatever the mission.

Definitely give him a try with a high power strenght build with the Rift augment, Zakti (to streap armor) and either a good zaw or a Zar. Or you could have a negative duration build, in order to have foes staggered all the time with Rift Surge. Or you could go with a BIG Cataclysme for pure control. He can do it all. Limbo is no troll, it's a master race frame!
No you’re also wrong! Because limbo’s abilities are actually similar to D4C who has the ability to open a portal to another dimension and enter it so he doesn’t receive damage... boom case closed
I just unlocked Limbo on Switch, and yesterday ran a bunch of Invasions. I can understand why some older players don't like partying with him, but *holy hell* this warframe is powerful, if you use it right! The inside of Cataclysm's bubble is weird. It counts as being in the Rift, so allies gain energy. However, normally in the Rift, you can't get pickups - in a Cataclysm bubble, you *can.* With that said, you can't interact with things inside of it - if you play as Limbo during a Survival mission, be careful with that. Banish can target allies, as well, which is part of what makes Limbo a TrollFrame. With that said, if you have a team that communicates over headsets, you can basically instruct your dudes to tell you if they get low on energy, and Banish them to recharge them, provided they understand how the Rift mechanic works. I understand why players run the Corrosive aura, but for being a support Limbo, I recommend the energy regen aura instead. While it makes Grineer and high-armor enemies tougher to take down, I find that Limbo works great as a 'caster' warframe who relies on his abilities to do damage, and his crowd control is simply top-notch, as you stated. I main Vauban, who I consider the strongest Warframe in the PvE game, but Limbo definitely comes up in a close second for me. Who knows, maybe I'm wrong and Limbo is one of the strongest in the game. I've still got a lot to learn about Warframe.
Don't forget that limbo has augment mods that help his abilities for example, his cataclysm augment makes it so that every time an enemy dies in the cataclysm bubble the duration extends which makes it so that you don't need that many duration mods
-Works only on enemies in the rift - Once they're in the rift, you hit rift surge on them - When the enemies with rift surge "exit" the rift (when Banish ability timer runs out), the surge you cast on them will cast them back into the Rift (auto banish) and will also impact nearby enemies. It's basically a "go to jail" card. You send them to jail(the rift) with banish and play rift surge(go to jail card) so that when they get out of jail they get thrown back into it automatically.
That's its first usage, there's two others it has as well. 1. It has a "virus" effect. This virus effect spreads the Surge status to any nearby enemies if the surged target is killed. This will ALSO extend outside of the rift and surge other enemies without them being inside the rift. ---it's a niche use but a pivotal one that can allow you to banish without leaving the safety of the rift. But you can do this with cataclysm as well. 2. Limbo's augment "Rift Torrent" will give a stacking (and effected by power strength) damage buff (base 25% per) for all surged enemies. This bonus damage only works while inside the rift though. Rift Surge is a situational ability but is really the skill that separates the casual Bubble Boys from the actual Limbo mains.
I don't believe people think he's shit. Before Wukong's buff, Limbo was the go-to frame for making the game easy. He's just annoying to have on the team because now everyone has to adjust to his gimmick more than any other frame. The hard part is learning how to use Limbo in a way that won't interfere with other players.

It used to be. Until they removed projectile stopping to sell his prime access. Not complaining as I like to use guns in rift. But I'd rather have a toggle for when I just want some JoJo reference. Other than that, Limbo has infinite range, way more duration and some extra stuff so I don't see why it's not close to Za Warudo.

@@FacelessBeanie nah he wont, his 1st ability got tweaked thats all Now if you hold 1 you actually cancel the Banish effect which makes him even better then before Makes his Rift Haven augument work much better and you can spread Rift Surge faster since you dont have to be in the same plane of existence to push enemy in/out of the rift
You have to do the mission multiple times and keep collecting the therom parts til you have enough to craft the different pieces of the Warframe. Once you've crafted them all you'll just need the blueprint for the Warframe and craft that and you should be done.
Is Limbo good for stealth missions? Can enemies see Limbo when he goes into the rift if he hasn't alerted them yet? Also with Stasis, you have to have them in the rift for it to affect people only or can it be used regardless if they have been knocked into the or not as long as they are on your plane of existence?
Heya, Limbo CAN be seen by enemies and cameras in stealth missions. Only advantage is that while he's in the Rift, any lasers he passed through will not trigger alarms. Regarding Stasis, yes, enemies must be in the Rift. Your plane of existence is irrelevant. If you're out of the Rift and they're in, stasis still affects them. If they're out of the rift and you cast Stasis, it only takes effect once they enter the Rift.
@@FacelessBeanie Alrighty! He can be seen even when in the rift but he can't trigger laser alarms as long as he is in there. That makes sense now that I think about it, as long as they are in the rift, no matter if he is there or not he can cast Stasis to stun them. Is Rift Surge the same way?
Could I say a point about Cataclysm Ever since I’ve built Limbo, I’ve seen him as the best and only use others to get Mastery Therefore, I have plenty experience with him and Cataclysm (I’ve Forma’d him 3 times) What you said about defence targets not being hit by ranged enemies is wrong. They are
How on earth have you forma him 3 times and been this misguided? They cannot shoot from outside the bubble to anything inside. If your bubble is so big it keeps the ranged enemies in there then they can hit it. That's what stasis is for, or limit your range.
If by create you mean "build", then you've got to do the Limbo quest. Or build the prime version. If you were speaking of builds, there were some (except for the power strength build and the minimal duration build). If anything else, go wiki instead of crying.

Every kill performed inside rift gives Limbo 10 energy back. This was bugged but they fixed it recently.

Regarding the colour of his sphere affecting visibility - there's a true black in the accessibility menu you can use for free.

His abilities barely do damage at higher levels. Do yourself a favor and stay for longer than 20 minutes in a survival

Regarding Stasis, yes, enemies must be in the Rift. Your plane of existence is irrelevant. If you're out of the Rift and they're in, stasis still affects them. If they're out of the rift and you cast Stasis, it only takes effect once they enter the Rift.
@@FacelessBeanie Alrighty! He can be seen even when in the rift but he can't trigger laser alarms as long as he is in there.
That makes sense now that I think about it, as long as they are in the rift, no matter if he is there or not he can cast Stasis to stun them. Is Rift Surge the same way?

Pretty much yes, like a banish "gate". You step in you're banished, you step out you're not.

So basically Limbo is weird is all I got from this

Ever since I’ve built Limbo, I’ve seen him as the best and only use others to get Mastery
Therefore, I have plenty experience with him and Cataclysm (I’ve Forma’d him 3 times)

How on earth have you forma him 3 times and been this misguided? They cannot shoot from outside the bubble to anything inside. If your bubble is so big it keeps the ranged enemies in there then they can hit it. That's what stasis is for, or limit your range.

If by create you mean "build", then you've got to do the Limbo quest. Or build the prime version. If you were speaking of builds, there were some (except for the power strength build and the minimal duration build). If anything else, go wiki instead of crying.
