Just an idea, I've seen slayer trinity spears use the 3rd w for swords and the last w for kiters. I noticed on the kingmaker fight that it would have been super easy to kill him if you could purge his 3-stacked-E before he realized and rendered him ineffective. Again, just an idea :V
as a spear main here: That's true, I always use 3rd w against swords because it takes away there buffs, the harpoon for anti kiters like Bow, against turret like builds like bolt casters but also assassins like bloodletter use the deflecting spin and against other proponent I like to use the 5th w. If your playing against aggressive build that want to get on top of you, try to keep them at range and poke them with your q and 5th w because it slows them, until they are lower and you can commit. I use 1h spear for the great mobility but also works on trinity. If they are a kite build you do the opposite, you try and go on top of them and against turret builds go on top of them and learn to use your deflecting spin at the right time in addition to hunter hood, to block their biggest damage.
I lost to this build twice as regular bow, but I think messed up hard. What spell would you recommend me to use as regular bow against this build? Q2 to long range kite?
