there's a large japanese community in Mont Kiara, you guys should live there.
Hi sister, I've seen in previous video your husband mentioned that food everywhere is cheap in Malaysia if i not mistaken, that's not true, with that small budget just go to our local restaurant or street food, you can get better food with lower price, like the price of coffee in the beginning of the video rm20 but in our local restaurant it's only cost you rm2 lol, you really need to save money if you're staying in KL. Stay safe and I wish you all the best and hope your husband will find a good job soon😉👍.
green sun * Wow Malaysian welcoming foreigner looking for a job in Malaysia with open arm how wonderful is that.
I understood that "It's cheap" for them because they are comparing to HKD.
Agreed with you, anyone could get lower price once they get more information
You can try visiting Lot 10 (J’s Gate Dining) for good Japanese food. It’s at Bukit Bintang area.
Also, there is a language school at Fahrenheit88 (beside Lot 10, opposite Pavilion) which provides mainly Japanese classes. The school name is ICLS (Intercultural Language School). Maybe you could enquire about teaching job there.
The rejected part is funny 😂
Men will trust men hahaha
why tho ha ha
I think in Islamic culture you should not make direct contact with woman who is not related or married to you, especially if they are accompanied by a male . BTW I’m not sure just a guess from other countries Sharia law .
JapanFoor I’m not talking about religion here. It WAS funny, full stop.
overheard their conversation inside the train talking about finding a JOB... so i guess they are coming here to do some kind of survey of possibility making malaysia their home..
welcome both of you
malaysia accept you guys with an open arms
Minit ke brp diorg ckp psl job tu?
they also talked about getting a job in Malaysia on their last video.. house tour Hk
They enjoy coming to Malaysia when they were earning Hong Kong salaries. While the cost of living in Malaysia is cheap, the salaries in Malaysia are very low compared to other developed countries. Moreover, the Malaysian job market is now very bad. I have not worked for 18 months now since I was retrenched. And a few of my ex-colleagues are in the same boat. Hopefully, iChang and husband can find specialty jobs here related to their Japanese nationality, which can pay decent wages. Otherwise, it may be better to go work in Singapore for the better pay, and take holidays in Malaysia.
@@tokbedu91 5:06 cuba dengar
@@hotoneten4655 yea I agree so. Though the cost of living in HK is expensive but the salary they get also is also big. thats why ichang was able to rent a house there nearly 7k per month..which is 30% of their income 😅 In Malaysia, average people earn between 2-5k per month (some even lesser than that). Rental cost in KL is around 1k and above.. If can stay outside KL citycentre, they can save more..
You need to go to specialty coffee cafe for good coffee, those franchise restaurant don’t do brew coffee. Look around for good cafe in KL.
I like San Francisco coffee (Malaysian born coffee shop with American name?) so much! You should try it too...
the earlier tenants must had been cooking something... since all doors and windows are closed the smell stay there..
just open all windows and let the air circulate..
Sotong kering kot... Lupa nak simpan dalam peti... Hehehe
@@adamfong8132 mungkin jugak.. penyewa lepas nak buat sambal sotong nasi lemak haha
hahaha sotong kering... pehh bau die..hahah
Chef Wae haha, yeah i was rocking with laughter trying to imagine that ‘squid smell’. ... raw squid? dried grilled squid? Sambal squid? Hilarious. Welcome to Malaysia😊
"where is the bathroom?"
~open a refrigerator to find the bathroom~
turn out the bathroom is inside the closet-looking door..LOL
@Jasni Jz hahaha
Hahahahaaha.. 😂😂
Finally she found a toilet after opening a closet... 🤣
Because the hubby wrote ''I don't know what she said'' so I just presume what he really wrote..
1) The staff is a MALE and MELAYU.. So maybe he more confortable to deal with male too, out of respectation toward female like touching hand and skin even unpredictable, which may cause jelousy from the husband.. Plus most Melayu are Islam, and good Muslim / Islam mean touching different gender skin are sin unless necessary.. Here, they have male (Hubby) so he deal with him..
2) Hubby speak better English kot.. Thats why they talk to him only..
Its either one of these 2 deduction!!
I think more to malay way to respect a couple. We tend to communicate the husband first. Its rude to talk to opposite gender when the same gender is there.
Betul sis
Let's look at it from consumer point of view. It was her husband who handed the money, so naturally the goods should be handed back to the one who gave money.
Trivial problem and only a Muslim society would make a big deal out of it.
@@asdf-fr8rq thats malay culture. We can be proud of it. Cant we?
You guys are great. Very courteous. Lots of Japanese here, no worries for Japanese food.
U can go Ikea try their Curry puff too. Is cheap and delicious! 😆
Can use mrt stop at Cochrane.this station got two shopping mall. my town and IKEA.
"You ask laa" hahahahaha!!
Of course la... They eat durian what...
Sound so malaysian😂
Its make me laugh when the husband found the toilet's door and says "haiya". Thats not japanese!!! 😂😂😂
So true.sound very like Malaysia.lol
Sushi King's quality has been good lately! Try that Ichang! Affordable and good.
gloria jeans coffee is the shittiest coffee franchise in malaysia, the barista are not well trained enough to make a decent coffee..the pastry products are not fresh, mostly a week in the display racks..the lowest of the low coffee franchise in malaysia..u can get better coffee and much cheaper in local coffee shop
Coz America brand wannabe so just Americano... Hehehe
I like how they are very honest couple. Make watching them more interesting.. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love your sound effects couple with your tag lines.
Enjoy your stay in Malaysia, hope you and Jimmy San find a job soon. Btw avoid going to Genting highlands if you looking to save money. The prices at genting highlands is as expensive as prices here in Singapore.
Malay Malaysian will not go to Genting, definitely.... Malay Malaysian more enjoying go to Cameron Highlands, it's more convenient and the food is not expensive too
I laughed so hard at Ichang getting rejected at the airport 😂
me too.
Wow, you're here! Welcome!
Have a great time here ichang!
Usually coffee shop at mall or airport sell espresso (coffee in Italian) Long black coffee is water in the cup first then espresso. Americano is espresso first then water. Both without milk. Basically the same coffee, machine brewed coffee
Also, the cheapest coffee you can find in Malaysia is at a kopitiam (coffee shop) / food stall restaurant / food court / mamak restaurant. U can order:
Kopi-O (coffee without milk)
Kopi-O Kosong (coffee without milk & sugar) usually less than RM2
Hope it helps you understand coffee.
Thank you 😊🙏🏻
Welcome! Welcome! Good to have you back again :-)
Welcome to Malaysia. Just watch out for your small bags wherever you go in Msia =) Take precaution ya.
You can also check out the Japanese food scene in Taman Desa/Taman Bukit Desa.
Selamat Datang Ke Malaysia 🇲🇾💕 Welcome to Malaysia ...
Nice to see you back to Malaysia. ✌
welcome to Malaysia 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Selamat dtg ke malaysia
You guys can now take lrt to mid valley megamall. You can take the kelana Jaya line and get off at Abdullah hukum station. There is a newly open pedestrian bridge connecting to mid valley megamall.
All the freeze frames 😂😂😂
Welcome back to Malaysia!
Really wish to meet you all here in KL.. Have a nice days ahead guys
yayaya welcome back🙋
Great practice to put your backpack in front👍
Welcome to KL, after seeing your need for coffee fix, I'll suggest that you visit kopitiam around your area for decent local coffee with a cheap price. It's not advisable to go for boutique cafes for your coffee fix as they are really costly. Like I said in my earlier post, you must know where to locate good and cheap food and drinks if you want to save money in KL. Feel free to ask if you need some free advise and information. Take care! 😊👌
"rejected" twice lol
Men will trust men hahhahaa
It’s monsoon season right now in Malaysia, so heavy rains almost every evening so please take care!
Did u just look for the toilet inside the fridge? hahahahahahha
You guys should try Sushi zanmai.. They sold great Japanese food with great quality and freshness
I totally agree!
Staying at Robertson can go Jalan Tong Shin to look for food. Taking the LRT to Pudu station can go ICC Pudu to look for local Chinese food too. There's a large wet market nearby too.
I think if you want to go ICC just take grab. Lrt is still not convenient as there are some distance from the lrt station.
Welcome
Ichang we love you. Try to enjoy Msia , while you look for job.
The laugh at the end scared the shit of out me. It's 1.00 am now😭😂
This new editing style is so funny
No worries....we have various types of air freshners in Malaysia...you can get it at the 7E...
Mont kiara has many Japanese expat.u can find many Japanese restaurant around the area.
That's Robertson@Bukit Bintang.
Theres a cafe that serve very good coffee near your airbnb... its called VCR... but soemtimes its very busy
iChang has a mic, i love the audio of this video
welcome to Malaysia again.Remember to try it nasi dagang and nasi kerabu.
4:10 No offense Ichang, men are considered as head of a family in a traditional Malaysian culture.
It would be respectful for a man to communicate with another man in a group.
welcome to malaysia.
Unity Is real husband is the head of family.. if husband isnt the head of the family.. he must be 'dayus'
@Unity Is real "traditional", learn to read, dickhead.
@Unity Is real ..hello in a positive way! save the negativity to yourself.
@Unity Is real illusion with a dickhead like you. Pseudo-SJW playing intellect when you can't even read properly and differentiate an opinion and deemed it as an attack against your so-called 'progressive' mindset. Keep your BS to yourself please.
@Unity Is real opss guys, dayus here 😂.
wow! you're in Malaysia, again!
The airport staff is so friendly
Welcome to malaysiaa. Glad tht u found a place to live
There's brewed coffee in Malaysia too. Its actually quite common. Of course it also depends on the kind of outlet you go to.
That room to the bathroom is a great hiding place man.
If you want cheap and affordable Japanese food, you can try Sanuki Udon and Nikkai Awesome Ramen at Taman Desa. Both operated by a Japanese who stayed in Kuala Lumpur for many years.
you should use bus one day from airport to the kl city if you want to budget. There is bus shuttle at airport at lowergroung costing you only Rm13 per person. That train a bit expensive
Hi ichang san, can consider to use grab in future, it cost rm65 from the airport to city center. have a nice stay.
If you guys want good Japanese food you should head to Lot10, there is a Japanese food court at the top floor selling decent Japanese food. I would recommend Osaka Kitchen's okonomiyaki or Yayoi. For localized japanese food, you can head to cheap sushi joints like Sushi Mentai, the food is decent but do not have high expectations as the price is affordable for a reason.
Happy staying in kl
usually the smell came from under the fridge..water get collected there when u defrost/turn off the fridge..just wash it, n then it should be ok.
Umm brew coffee is a general term. Americano is a type of brew coffee where single shot of espresso + water. Latte / cuppucino / flat white are also called as brewed coffee if that's what u mean.
Enjoy your stay in Malaysia 👋👍
I kind of like sushi king, a conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain in Malaysia. Cost of living in Malaysia is definitely much lower compared to Singapore
Hahhah...last part funny.. since the toilet missing in the wardrobe🤭
Welcome to Malaysia!
I think he rejected her because Men cannot touch women from muslim Perspective. Dont be mad ya
agreed
Nahh not in Malaysia. Idk what's up with that guy, probably an Arab wahabi student.
i think shy. if it was 2 girls then he has no choice.
It's also a show of gentlemenship when men around women in the western society, just like a man opens the door before the woman.
@@Georgeklee Ignoring a woman while only talking to men is being a gentleman?
You and I have very different world views
i believe most expat from japan/korea live in Hartamas or Ampang area right...correct me if im wrong guys..but should suggest them to stay airbnb near the expat area..atleast easy for them to asking around...
Welcome to malaysia.. this time you can explore more food in near area you
you can check with Japan club for more information of living in Malaysia. Japan club located at Taman Seputeh. alot of Japanese stay at Tmn Desa. another place is saujana subang due to Japanese school. mostly choose Mont kiara for convenience and Japanese community.
theres a lot of demand for japanese I think. check agency like JAC recruitment or Pasona or even jobstreet. hope this helps and Welcome to Malaysia
Omg I'm staying in the same building just 3 floors below you!
Go suprise them with a welcome gift
SELAMAT DATANG KE MALAYSIA 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
Yeay selamat datang my favourite japanese food with be sushi tei.. but u will used to local food for sure hope u get ur desired job soon here
normal curry puff nowadays cost average around rm 0.50cent each depend on size. big puff can go to rm2. but these are not airport price. local seller price
I like the Thriller music after "why does it smell like squid?" hahaha..
Lololol. The rejected part is so funny. 😂😂😂.
Very funny video. Wife voice is so cute. 🤣
your edit is funny😂😂😂😭
Curious how did jimmy shot the video? Did he attach the camera on a hat?
Dammit the editing was hilarious!

Hello. I think you are near VCR Cafe which should have some nice coffee.
👋 ,U can go to Midvalley mega mall for a good coffee and the name of the outlet is ‘maison de gigi ‘like the one in Osaka,Japan. 😉
WELCOME TO MALAYSIA
Robertson is among the most popular place to stay for tourist and that's why many westerner.
wow you guys book a ABNB..so how long will you guys be in KL? if you want brew coffee..just go to the local coffee shop...ask for kopi-o (means without milk). Dont buy frm the airport..it will cost you guys alot. Since you stop at the Hang Tuah station..i reckon you guys might be staying near the bukit bintang area. There is alot of hawker around there. Enjoy.
Wellcome back in malaysia
Yes! There are plenty of good Japanese restaurants in the KL/Petaling Jaya area. (PJ for short) But be careful of encountering some bad ones. And avoid the overly franchised or commercialized ones like Sushi King and Sakae Sushi. (Sorry if I offend anyone)
Nice Suspense
Americano is black coffee...
Think brew coffee, can try coffee beans n Starbuck
i think you need a malaysian ewallet like boost touchngo ewallet and some more, but mostly used in kl is boost.
Msia gov is going to have a big push cashless, the ewallet will become a trend afterwards
Got a taiwan channel which is from japan, they try m'sia's sushi is almost alike japan, and the price is almost half of japan price. Each plate from rm2 to rm5, for those special order sure is different price but not very high price
you guys can take express bus from klia - kl sentral in cheaper rate only RM 12 :)
Klia-klsentral is rm15. Klia2 is rm12.
ur video is fun before, but this kind of editing is more fun for me!!
love love love the editting.
Welcome, inform us if you need assist, Malaysian very helpful
welcome to malaysia again
Is that an airbnb? we are going to KL in 2 weeks, still looking for Airbnbs
In Malaysia, sometimes grab/drive is cheaper than public transport. Icymi.
i love this clash of cultures videos lol
