Hi sister, I've seen in previous video your husband mentioned that food everywhere is cheap in Malaysia if i not mistaken, that's not true, with that small budget just go to our local restaurant or street food, you can get better food with lower price, like the price of coffee in the beginning of the video rm20 but in our local restaurant it's only cost you rm2 lol, you really need to save money if you're staying in KL. Stay safe and I wish you all the best and hope your husband will find a good job soon😉👍.

You can try visiting Lot 10 (J’s Gate Dining) for good Japanese food. It’s at Bukit Bintang area.
Also, there is a language school at Fahrenheit88 (beside Lot 10, opposite Pavilion) which provides mainly Japanese classes. The school name is ICLS (Intercultural Language School). Maybe you could enquire about teaching job there.

They enjoy coming to Malaysia when they were earning Hong Kong salaries. While the cost of living in Malaysia is cheap, the salaries in Malaysia are very low compared to other developed countries. Moreover, the Malaysian job market is now very bad. I have not worked for 18 months now since I was retrenched. And a few of my ex-colleagues are in the same boat. Hopefully, iChang and husband can find specialty jobs here related to their Japanese nationality, which can pay decent wages. Otherwise, it may be better to go work in Singapore for the better pay, and take holidays in Malaysia.

Though the cost of living in HK is expensive but the salary they get also is also big. thats why ichang was able to rent a house there nearly 7k per month..which is 30% of their income 😅 In Malaysia, average people earn between 2-5k per month (some even lesser than that). Rental cost in KL is around 1k and above.. If can stay outside KL citycentre, they can save more..

Because the hubby wrote ''I don't know what she said'' so I just presume what he really wrote..
    1) The staff is a MALE and MELAYU.. So maybe he more confortable to deal with male too, out of respectation toward female like touching hand and skin even unpredictable, which may cause jelousy from the husband.. Plus most Melayu are Islam, and good Muslim / Islam mean touching different gender skin are sin unless necessary.. Here, they have male (Hubby) so he deal with him..
    2) Hubby speak better English kot.. Thats why they talk to him only..

Also, the cheapest coffee you can find in Malaysia is at a kopitiam (coffee shop) / food stall restaurant / food court / mamak restaurant. U can order:
    Kopi-O (coffee without milk)
Kopi-O Kosong (coffee without milk & sugar) usually less than RM2

Yes! There are plenty of good Japanese restaurants in the KL/Petaling Jaya area. (PJ for short) But be careful of encountering some bad ones. And avoid the overly franchised or commercialized ones like Sushi King and Sakae Sushi. (Sorry if I offend anyone)
