    I recently saw Jon Robyns in Les Mis as Jean Valjean, my word that man is a strong singer, and a great stage presense

    Hysterical watching a Brit sing this to a Brit audience. And man, have they changed! I’ve never seen a UK audience dress like that for the Proms!

    This is great- I don't know why it doesn't have more views. Endless debate about the quality of the performances of all the other roles between the US and the West End casts; in this case, however, Jon takes the pronunciation, accent, and I daresay the performance in it's entirety to a new level. Well done!

      i mean this is the proms, so i doubt it would be seen as proper etiquette to go full comedy like i’ve heard he does in the shows. it’s ultimately a recital and showcase of musical talent rather than a performance

  • @orion8835
    @orion8835 Před 3 lety +1

    Jon Robyns gorgeous and articulated. A very steady well positioned and vocalized performance indeed. Michael Ball needs to get off the carbs and realize he is an annoying emcee. He should just stick to the singing. The outdoor audience was their usual embarrassing selves having a great time of it.
