My husband bought my the straighten brush from this company. I was skeptical, but it's pretty awesome. I have naturally curly hair, and thought about getting this for more structured curls. Hmmm I may reconsider now.

I have bought a few products from l'ange and have only had to return one. I bought the Duo and just could not make it work for me, as I too have thin fine hair. I contacted customer service and they gave me an immediate refund. I ordered the bubble wand and am excited to try it. I have to say the customer service at l'ange is great and I would buy from them again.

I like their heat shield so I received this same wand with my purchase. Tried it today and it did make some wave but I was not holding it upside down. My hair is thin also and typically does not stayed curled. Have only tried it once and I am very glad that I received it free with my purchase.

I was watching videos and they explain that there are 2 different types of barrels one us for hard to curl and not damaged vs damaged(easy to curl) hair which I believe is the black one.

You have to use the titanium if you have hard to curl hair. It is amazing. The ceramic ones are not good. It does not regulate temperature.
My hair is super thick and textured, not curly though (think Hermione book one). My top layer doesn't hold curl, but the titanium wand works well and staying curled. I rarely do it though.

Love your reviews! I am not affiliated to L’ange at all!!! I just Happen to have most of their products. Include this one and so far I have been really happy. However, I must admit I do use their lots of their hair products , and that’s why it might work better for me. ???? Just their heat shield one helps my curls.
I have thick doll hair and the curls just sort of used to drop down with the hair weight. That’s how heavy and full course my hair is. My curls just became a hot entangled mess usually. After L’ange , they last 2 to 3 days. I make them tight , then on day 3 they look like beach wave ones.
I would never use any of their tools without a glove. Thank you sooo much for all you do!, and for taking the time to help us. I have stopped from buying some nail sets due to your reviews! Stay safe! 💋💋💋

I have the 32mm the 25mm and one of the L’ange straighteners. They all work amazing on my hair. I had to take the me time to learn to use it, because it isn’t a traditional hair product. However when I finally learned after a few practices they were amazing. I do not promote or work for L’ange. I’m just a happy customer 😊

I have bought all mine from lange website and love them all. I dont know why people don't buy from the source. To many knock offs out there especially if your going to review the product.

I wish i would have seen your video before purchasing. I bought one of the curling wands and my curls fall out does not hold what so ever. I see some women are commenting saying you have to learn how to use the product correctly i dont know what would complicated abot wrapping your hair around a stick.
They probably sale for Lounge. Or get commissions.
That’s crazy! I have super thick stick straight hair that’s really heavy so it doesn’t hold a curl for more than like an hour- and this guy works great for me! I take big pieces too.

I'm so glad it's not just me! I just got mine, and I HATE it. I have a Lange Le Reve straightener and I love it, so I expected to like this alot more. Even with the glove, I still burned myself multiple times, with nothing to show for it. I emailed Lange to return it and exchange/upgrade to the Le Cinq set. My sister has that set and likes it alot better. I also like that it comes with a keeper case for all the tools. I did buy the little stand they sell separately to set the wand on. I did really like it, and it helped a ton.

@@MelissaFreeman definitely not. I really feel like I just picked the wrong curling iron though. This is their most affordable, economical wand, which means it comes with economical hang ups. The le cinq actually lets you set your own temp, which I have realized is a must for me. On and Off switch just doesn't cut it for my hair. After researching it further, I should've just gotten the le cinq set all along. It's definitely pricier, but the adjustable temp settings, and the 5 or so wand options you get with it are just obviously a must have for me.
The struggle is real for hair like ours thin and straight..to achieve my beachy waves when I want them I started using the tigi bedhead waver..I love it. I don’t even touch my curling iron anymore. I’ll snap you a pic😉

I'm glad I purchased a Conair flat iron to curl my hair😂. That sucks that it didn't work out for you but thank you for letting us know to stay away from that at TJ Maxx or wherever else they sell them.

I appreciate your review and love your honesty!!! However, I have a ton of tools and products from L’ange and I LOVE LOVE all of them!! My favorite is the Le Volume!!! Definitely don’t get their products from anywhere except direct from them especially from TJ Maxx, everything I have gotten from TJM has failed me... it’s like they go and collect any defective items and then sell them lol. Girl if it wasn’t for Afterpay I wouldn’t own any of the L’ange products but thanks to them I have several tools! Girl also, you HAVE to try their Rehab hair product and the Borago deep conditioning masque OMG I have thin and super dry hair and this stuff makes my hair feel like it does when I leave the salon!!
Definitely think it has everything to do with coming from tjm. I have gotten blow dryers from tjm that were great though!

I have a similar hair texture and length as you. I ordered the titanium wand from their website and LOVE it. I’m not a representative or anything but I JUST ordered mine so it’s fresh on my brain. The titanium luster gives you heat control settings and the regular titanium doesn’t. But if you still wanted to try this wand out they have a sale and you can get an additional 30% off
Sarah Beth I probably won’t be getting anything from this brand just because of this experience for me. But I do think it was broken because of bought it from tjmaxx so I’m guessing it was there because it was something Lange couldn’t re-sale

Did you be sure to single layer your hair around the barrel? I have watched some videos where the gals hold their gloved hand around the hair to put pressure on the curl (if the glove works properly you should be able to do this comfortably). And with short fine hair you should try a smaller barrel. A smaller barrel than this wouldn't necessarily cause a tight curl if you don't go way smaller.
Honey ... as thin as my hair is it wouldn’t matter if I put my whole entire head of hair around it at once 🤣
It’s the bit size of the barrel because it Walmart one is the same size and works just fine 😉

That's such a bummer that it performed so poorly. I think I'll stick with my Remington one. I had one for several years before it finally pooped out on me a couple months ago and I loved it so much that I went and bought another Remington wand that was very similar and I love that one too. I hope you find one you love!
Glamburger Remington is a very good brand. I’ve had good experiences with those tools in the past too!!
I purchased this wond and it touched my arm. I ended up with shitty curls and a 3rd degree burn on my arm ended up having to be put on antibiotics because it was getting infected.

I LOVE LANGE products. My daughter does too. I have two of them. The straightener and the Le Duo. I think they could of designed this one better. As far as, setting it down and also moving the controls to a better place. 😂 and you’re right it doesn’t know the hair you put in. I like that the barrel is all the same size all the way down. Love how honest and blunt you are. For curls. Try the Le Duo!! It even has a fan!!
I think the issue with this particular one is that it came from tjmaxx which is basically like a second hand store. Someone might’ve returned it to Lange and it ended up there
I think you have to use all those products to get the curls to stay. I think you can use the hair products with any wand and you will get the same effects. Thanks for sharing!

I watched a lot of videos too and people said the titanium wands are better for hard to curl hair, not ceramic. I curl my hair with a titanium straightener and it lasts really well

You’re awesome! I bought the Le Duo that everyone is saying so great. All it did was make my hair look frizzy. Couldn’t curl it or straighten it with the device. I have wavy hair that I can easily straighten or curl. I returned it and am still waiting on my refund....
Oh man that stinks. I was really looking forward to having a launge product since everyone hyped it up! I won’t try any others now! I’ll stick to my Sally’s & Amazon tools!

Yes. This one was a wand someone brought back I think because it was at tjmaxx everyone that got one form there said there’s didn’t work 🤦🏼♀️ I should have known better!!
You may want to try the titanium wand because they help hold your curl longer I’m sorry you didn’t like it I just got one to try it

Melissa Freeman I ordered my directly from the website, I didn’t use any affiliate codes or anything and they have L’ange on afterpay so if you really want to try it again I recommend that! They have great sales right now too. Also my glove came wrapped so if yours came loose it was deff returned!

You should have got the titanium wand. They are awesome. I love my lange tools and products other than the aplatir straightener bc its ceramic like the wand you have there. Always get titanium.

@@MelissaFreeman yeah I have the titanium ondule 25mm wand, the le cinq, le gloss, le reve, le vite, le volume, bubble wand, le waver and the aplatir and I LOVE them all accept the aplatir and its ceramic all the others are titanium. And the posh, sorbet, and dream creme are the best products ever. Have you tried head kandy tools? I have 4 tools and only like 2 the bff blow dryer and the loud mouth I love but the miss priss and one upper doesnt work in my hair at.

I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience. I purchased the luster because I have hair that doesn’t stay curled. The luster has the temp control and the titanium barrel.
I find it works great for me.
I had watched many videos and the comments all said the same thing the ones using the ceramic Wands didn’t have a good experience but the ones using the titanium wands seems happy.

So weird... I got the 25mm. Exact same thing just smaller. Same color and everything. I used mine on Saturday night and still had perfect beautiful curls Sunday night and I never curled my hair before buying this because I would spend an hour or more curling with my other curling iron for it to fall flat within an hour or 2. I seriously think I could have worn those curls for 3+ days but it was time to wash. Putting it to the test now. Curled my hair in 20 minutes or less this morning. Wrk day is over and still holding strong. My daughter who had massive thick and heavy hair had me curl her hair Sunday for church and still had pretty wavy curls this morning when she woke up. So I’m not sure why this didn’t work for you. I also don’t make anything from L’ange and don’t make videos for them but I would in a heartbeat.
I had a lot of other women reach out and say their didn’t work at all and we ALL got these from tjmaxx!!!!
I think this was a bunch that were returned it didn’t work right and that’s why they sent to tjmaxx

Maybe you should've gotten the smaller 25mm wand. You have a beach wave look, which is what the 32mm gives.
This doesn’t look like a beach wave to me! I have one from Walmart this size that works much much better!

The glove is too thin and you can feel the heat going through it. This whole lange was a negative for me. I'm selling mine.
I am not surprised at your results. Your hair is too short for the wand, so all you received was a slight bend of the ends which is normal. If you want more than a bend you will need a smaller diameter iron.
My other wand is the same size and works 🤷🏼♀️ if it’s weren’t for that then I would agree
if your hair doesn't hold a curl, or is hard to curl, your suppose to use the titanium one which is heat adjusted. The ondule, the one you used, only heats up to 410 and its ceramic. Ceramic is not for everyone...

Same I was going to Order one for $19 but I have ALOT of hair and thick. My curls stay very easily all day but idk how it would do with my hair :( (I’m Hispanic and I have a lot of hot so I don’t want to spend hours doing it lol) I wanted something easy for a messy look.
First of all, prep your hair. Use a sea salt spray or dry shampoo. Use a smaller barrel like a 25mm or 19mm. Lastly, if your hair is hard to curl use the titanium one. They have several different types of curling wands. That’s not the only one they have.
first of all thank you i did prep my hair and second this came from tjmaxx so i think someone had taken it back broken or is was a POS in the first place and thats why it was there!!!
I think you should try a smaller barrel and get the titanium. I have hard to curl hair also and it did wonders for my hair. I’ve seen your other videos- your hair doesn’t look bad. I think it’s pretty.
I bought the bijou set and it was HORRIBLE I sent it back but they don’t cover shipping cost for returns so I’m out $50 🙄🙄🙄 bc it was so heavy

I use the same wands and I love them my hair turns out amazing. And no I'm not a sells rep for them or make any money by saying this. Maybe you just got a bad wand did you even call customer service cuz they would of sent you a new one. Plus I would of liked to see you demonstrate how this wand didn't work for you not just talk about it.

L’ange has so many bad comments if you really look at reviews. It has been written up as cheap and flawed in the Better Business Bureau. My Le Duo stopped getting hot after several months. The company kept making me jump through hoops to get it replaced until I finally gave up. I even sent a video showing the tool was faulty. .
Oh wow. It became so popular & desired because of the influencers being paid to push the products. Consumerism at its best

Yes for sure but that’s not the curl I wanted. I have this same side barrel in another wand and it’s works well so it’s definitely this particular wand that had something going on with it

I just got the titanium L'ange wand for my hard to curl hair and it really works well! The one you had was ceramic and my hair looks like yours did after I curl with ceramic. So just saying you may want to try the titanium.

I would like to know where this thing is made. I search on the website for an address, customer service telephone number, and where it’s made. If the answers are on there, they hide it, which means they are not customer service friendly.

Bummer it wouldn't do good for you and that you used 50 minutes of your time. It wouldn't work for me either because the barrel is too big and my hair is too fine. Curling irons in general just don't give me curls that last a whole day, so that's a waste of time for me too. At best I can only get waves with a loose curl that lasts a few hours in low humidity only. If there's any humidity in the air, I just have to hang it up!! TFS!! xoxo

If your wand didn’t work though that sucks and I’m sorry. Were you able to return it at least?
I would day she needs a smaller one. I have really thick hair down to my butt. 35 ml is the one I use to get a loose curl.

I’ve never heard any of those girls say that it knew the texture of your hair and how much hair you are sticking on there. Somebody was highly Misinformed if they was saying that. Also I do NOT sale L’ange or get paid to to promote it.

It looks like you bought the wrong size for your hair. It looks way to large for the length of your hair.
