I need this done on one of my trucks.
I left a message on one of videos about a alternator that you installed on a freightliner. Just wanna know if you have to upgrade the battery cables or the stock battery cables take the 320 amp Delco.
Did you get a different amp alternator? If you replace the alternator and it is the same alternator as the one you remove do you shouldn't have to change any battery cables.
The one on my truck is 160 amp alternator. The one that I want to put in is a 320 amp the same one that you have on the video . Freightliner cascadia
@@cumminsMoney it should not be a problem I believe but also it’s better to check the manual that comes inside the alternator box. It’ll let you know specifications and if it doesn’t just to make sure I would just call the dealer and they’ll be able to give you updated information on those amperage’s.
I appreciate you replying back. Thank you very much. If you can check on that I have a 2017 freightliner Cascadia evolution Monday morning I I’ll give a call to the dealer and see if it’s compatible or not. Thank you again.
@@cumminsMoney No problem, you can always email me for a quicker response @ Motivessmart@gmail.com if you ever have any questions. I travel to different states I’ll be in south California until the 13th.
