That’s what turned my off of it. I can listen to Volbeat’s music, but the moment the guy starts singing, I’m done. Drives me nuts, because their instrumentals are so killer. The most perfect wrong-ness ever for metal. But, that is just my opinion and my taste.
@@joelmacdonald6994 True. Volbeat can be quite deceiving 😏. The songs always kick off like the heaviest Slayer tune just to take a sharp turn into Nickelback territory as soon as the chorus hits😆. Poulsen' s drawling vocal style is also not to everybodys cup of tea but you have to admit that the full package is quote unique and entertaining. Regarding Denis work, It's fascinating to see the evolution and shared DNA from early Rockabilly to NWOBHM to Horrorpunk. Very well done Mr. Pauna !

I think the whole thing is most like Graves era misfits, which makes sense because those songs were composed when Jerry and Doyle were doing a Maiden-esque Christian metal banda and also the vocals are most like Graves
