World bank visit to Phudmyrdong EKHD

The Internal Support Mission Team went to Phudmyrdong-B, a village in the Mawphlang Block of the East Khasi Hills District, on November 22nd, 2022.
The President, Mr. Laibodsing Kharphuli, gave a welcoming speech and gave an introduction to the programme. The community honored the dignitaries and gave them gifts as souvenirs. The VCFs presented the guests with reports on the various interventions before explaining their projects.
The community members performed a song in the local tongue that expressed the emotion of the area and highlighted the problems the residents were facing and how the CLLMP had helped them to find solutions.
People discussed their project-related experiences, while VCFs discussed the many trainings they had attended and the lessons they had learnt from them. The dignitaries also provided their thoughts and observations on the project and the community.
