  • Its November, its our anniversary, and Karen and I decide that we’d like to spend it in the Kruger Park. This time, we’re not self-driving, and nor are we staying in rest camps. We’re going for the spoil and decide to spend the weekend at the Kruger Shalati - the train on the bridge, high above the Sabie River. Join us for this latest adventure in the bush.

      Thanks Edward. Yeah, the train experience was really good. If you ever get the chance, I can highly recommend a night or two there as part of a nice spoil tagged onto a longer Kruger stay.

    Happy anniversary to you both and what a wonderful way to celebrate it. Thanks again for taking the time to share your Kruger adventures with us. We also enjoy the music you have chosen, especially the track by April Moon which Alison managed to find after a Google search. All the best Karl & Alison

    Firstly, happy anniversary to you Graeme and Karin!
    Great video and nice scenery, just being in Kruger park is a blessing. When we still lived in SA, we also used every opportunity to visit the park.
    Enjoy every moment, we can’t wait to join you virtually on your next visit. Greetings from Germany.

    Great video and place. What is the make and model of your camera?. I have seen other youtube video of Shalanti and your quality comes top

      @@lucasmakhafola7116 - thanks for the comment. Glad you liked the video. I have two cameras - most of the moving video is shot in a GoPro Hero 8, whilst the zoomed animals are shot with a Canon M50mk11. Nothing fancy or expensive. The GoPro quality is really impressive for such a small camera though.

    • @graemecumming
      @graemecumming  Před 2 lety

      Werner, its a song called "Call Me Out Tiger" by Velvet Moon. Lyrics are cool, the melody is relaxed and uplifting...have used this song in a couple of the videos and really like it.

      Thanks Duke. Glad you enjoyed. Yes, the scientific name for African Wild Dog is the ‘Lycaon Pictus’. Also sometimes referred to as the African Painted Dog. 😉

      Hey Louis - thanks for the comment. I use a combination of a GoPro Hero 8 Black and a Canon M50 MKII with 70-300mm lens. Both pretty affordable and quality acceptable.
      What do you use?
