Guys. I still like Game Theory and will continue to watch their videos. But I had to give my HONEST reaction to their latest theory about DOORS and in my opinion, they are wrong. It may differ from yours, and that's ok. As Game Theory always says, it's a THEORY, not a FACT and we are expected to draw our own conclusions from observations with our own eyes and ears and knowledge and that it may differ from theirs. It's OK to disagree with other videos and CZcamsrs.

Slight correction: Guiding Light actually does not talk to you after you die if you got modifiers on.
Ah yes, this is true, but Guiding Light still 'guides' you with door lights etc, unless you disable them.

@@thinknoodlesthat is probably because the developers still don’t want the game to be too hard as if not then guiding light appearing in the doors/where guiding light is supposed to be when using modifiers while not appearing to talk to you when you die doesn’t really make sense

@@Realmonkey457 Well to get modifiers unlocked, you have to beat doors first, and remember that Guiding Light remembers each time you die since they give you more info the more die to the same entity, I imagine Guiding Light still helps you with stuff but probably won't give you info on the entities since you probably already know all about the entities

interms of actual gameplay, this is probably just so guiding light doesn't give wrong hints like "screech lurks in dark rooms" when the "I'm Everywhere" modifier is active

Slight correction: Guiding Light's symbols are the crucifix and the candle, and the rules for going into el tio's mines say that no other religious artifacts are allowed. Which implifies the fact that guiding light WON'T be in the mines.

They only got 2 errors in my opinion and most of the theory sounded right.
Error #1 Said you had to get out of rooms to go into backdoors.
(This is a small error might still work with their theory if curious light is able to get out through the door you came in.)
Error #2 Said that Guiding light and modifiers can't coexist.
This one is a bigger error but I think that the theory still works but instead guiding light is weaker when modifiers are active.
Also Game Theory said Curious light would be in floor 2 - 24:22

When watching the original theory myself and they started talking about the third architect I was praying they’d mention this!! Then they just didn’t lol!!
From what I’ve seen, LSPLASH said that Tower Heroes was going to likely be their largest collab methinks. So the potential that the collab has impact on DOORS itself feels much more likely than anything else… and considering the red light, it’s very likely that the red light in that weekly challenge IS important. Wish I got to play that event myself, though.

There's 2 ways to get "One of Many" badge in Backrooms. The first is playing Doors during The Hunt event as it's easy to get to the backrooms. The other way... is way longer for a alt account. You're unable to go to Backrooms until you get the Detour badge from Rooms. So that would mean that you need play normal Doors, get 2 lockpicks, and a skeleton key, open, and go through Rooms, exit Rooms, beats normal Doors, AND then go to Backrooms and die to get your first death. All without dying, btw if you're a new player or using an alt account

when you open the door to rooms you get the detour badge but you can just leave and then go to the backdoors thing outside (i mean after the hunt thing)

A micro theory here:
The crucifix turning red if it's used on the Figure or Seek, is that the 3rd architect doesn't want the game to be too easy so she interrupts Guiding Light. If she didn't exist, Guiding Light is powerful enough to banish both of them.
I think that this theory isn’t flawed because entering the rooms might have let curious light out too because they can go the way you came

I believe the reason you need the "detour" badge and not "A-1000" to enter the backdoor is to balance the game so people don't need to spend 2 hours in the rooms just to play the backdoor. However I do believe that in the lore we go through the 1000 rooms and let curious light out.
No. The developers wouldn't just make something one way and say 'yeah but it's actually really hard to do it that way, so canonically, it's the opposite'
@@thinknoodles Canonically, we need to complete the whole of rooms, all the way to A-1000 to let Curious Light out into the hotel. But the devs thought that forcing every new person into the rooms for 2 hours, and only then making backdoor accessible to them was a bit harsh. So they made it so that anyone who hasn't visited the rooms just has to go there once for the detour badge, and then they can enter the backdoor. I do not physically understand what's so hard to comprehend about this.

I agree with you, afterall the backdoor takes less than 5 minutes to beat, while on average, rooms take hours two beat, so it would make sense if you just have deutor badge.

If you go to the backdoor area while you are still loading into the lobby, if your achievements haven’t loaded yet you can see the barrier 6:07

Yeah Ambush and the voice lines when opening a door or finding a key, the ones that are supposed to be coming from the player, both of those are Redibles.

I went to rooms and the nameplates have three names and I think they're the three arkitecs that we see in DOORS,Rooms, the backdoor, and with modifiers
the thing is, it must be canon that we leave through a1000 in the doors lore, which means curious light can escape into other realms. also, the modifier that activates the rooms entities in doors requires back on track aka leaving rooms. so we know that entities can leave realms as long as the player has opened that realm up.
Yes. But you're mixing up Curious Light with the 'A' entities. Curious Light can escape Rooms through our portal we unlocked. The A-entities cannot. They can only escape through the exit of Rooms, along with you. A-1000 is irrelevant in both cases, because Back on Track is achieved even on A-20X exit.

I like the concept of Curious Light only helping you because you will later unknowingly help it.
I Was Motived To Get A-1000 After This Video And I Did Get It But My Game Crashed After Getting The Tablet...
I think the A-1000 theory is correct but the back door is locked behind detour from a game design standpoint.
I want Think to try this challenge:
Finish the Backdoors with any modifier on, go to rooms all the way to A-1000, then finish the game XD. Idk if you can use modifiers in Backdoors so its prob not possible--
Yeah you can't use modifiers for the backdoor or the rooms. It would be really cool to see that though! Think should definitely do a run where he 100% completes doors by doing both the backdoor and A-1000 and then making it to the end.
Actually The Rooms Are Nerfed Now A LOT And You Can No Longer Find Gold In Later Rooms First Rooms Have Some Gold But Then Only Batteries Spawn And The Starlight Vitals Can Help You Heal Up Which Makes A-90 Less Dangerous Since You Can Carry A Lot Of Vitals Or Put Some In The Rift And Grab Them On They Way Out And The Big Starlight Potion Also Gives Health So You Can Probably Take About 2 Or 3 A-90 Attacks With The Potions And A-90 Seems To Be Less Sensitive As Well He Almost Got Me While Hiding A Lot But Didn't Damage Me

Less stuff, are things you are unlucky and don't have money to get items
Room for more, not only the doors entities wanna kill you but even the rooms entities are behind you
Stop right there, your bad luck has caused A90 to be behind you and try to hunt you down
You really can run, just making your life miserable at this point
Last but not the least, didn't skip leg day, I mean you do wanna run from all the entities don't you?
If you want you can add more modifiers to make it way more fun
And lastly just wanted to say I really enjoy your videos, they are extremely fun with a lot of humor

In the end cutscene of the game, after Figure breaks the elevator from above, he then jumps off of the roof of the elevator into another floor, one that the player flies by really quickly, which may or may not be the exit.
I don’t think it was on purpose, I think it gets knocked off by a falling rock.

Think important note! I just went to Doors to hop on and the profile has changed, where there are RED EYES IN THE DOOR instead of before without! Soooo, lore? I think so...

1)The whole "escape the rooms" part is from the lore POV
From the lore perspective we assume the player has already escaped the 1000 rooms of the Rooms
2) The Modifiers and Guiding Light not coexisting part is also assuming that the only lore standpoint modifiers are Gone Fishing and soundproofing.
3)This is just to show how much power the Red Architect has.
Theory making is kind of like history writing

After all, it would seem weird that Curious Light would keep requesting that you try again to complete the whole thing if he was already free just from you entering The Rooms

Just something to mention, since the player in game is trying not to die, they might not want to use the mysterious yellow glowing doors that seemingly go to nowhere and death is probably not canon.
That is true because when I enter back door it does not you need to beat it
I think that the symbol doesn’t have control of the entity’s but in stead keeps the hotel the entity’s can run a muck and she will make the entity’s clean it and maybe boss the entity’s around but does not have gone full control

I assume that the detour badge to open the backdoors is because LSPLASH knows that getting to A-1000 is difficult. A-1000 is how curious light gets to the backdoors and when you complete it, curious light gets into the hotel.
