Found in a Sydney junk shop, November 2018.

Anybody remember the mcain ad for corn and the 2 kids are on the roof then the dad says “the rains are here” I remeber watching that ad everyday for a good 10 years

Those Yogo ads are so so good.. I recall them vividly from when I was a teenager in the 90’s

OMG. I totally forgot about the Pizza Pockets. I loved them when I was a kid. They use to sell them at my schools canteen.
You can tell this was aired in winter from the sheer amount of cold and flu tablet commercials!

Also the funny thing is I still see some of these cars on the road so that says a lot about how they don’t make them like they use to.
Even today, I’d rather drive any of them over the modern Chinese junk

Forgot how beautiful the Ansett ads were. Right up there with British Airways and Brampton Island. 🏝
They were a great airline, even better than Qantas. Speaking of which, the Qantas share offer ads - talk about the beginning of the end

This is also from a time where the individual customer still mattered and there was true competition.

Life must of been so beyond boring for people to enjoy this tripe.
The internet was in its infancy, Smartphones were a thing of science fiction, home computers were still new and exciting, and people were far more chill. It was a good time.
This was a great era.
No political correctness.
No agenda being shoved down everyone's throats.
These days, ads are full of agenda. Lgbtqiabcdefg, feminism, race, politics etc. It turned into a joke.
