In Nairobi, we have a lot of "Roadside nurseries" which have a good collection of plants. We also share cuttings amongst friends, actually this the best way, as one picks up amazing plants.
Would perlite be good for lavender? I’ve tried a number of times here in Alabama but I think my clay based soil retains too much moisture. Love your videos.
Try adding a bit of organic mix with the perlite to the soil. Due to the texture of clay, water does not drain easily and roots have to work extra hard to move and grow freely.
