Nice lecture on the treatment of cut roses. We're in Oracle Arizona at approximately 4200 feet elevation. I'm wondering if that elevation affects their life in the vase?

Hi, Regarding removing the wrapping on roses, Sometimes when I'm unwrapping my roses from my wholesaler I've found that roses wrapped in the cardboard and paper sometimes have early browning of petals, Is this due to gas they produce not being able to escape just like with the plastic wrapping or a sign that they're not as fresh as they should be? It's generally when I've bought Equadorian Roses and I wondered in general how long does it take for Equadorian Roses to reach wholesalers over here? Many Thanks xx
