I'm considering getting one of these. Would you recommend the Origin like yours or is the Essential worth the extra 500 for the coil shock, GX DH, and Spank rims? I prefer the colour of the Origin but yeh.

Yes, but probably more for the drivetrain ratio.
But it can be, because the bike is steady on one place and do not go forvard. Or maybe the deraulieur is too stretched?
He was in the first gear so the derailleur was stretching there would be none if in higher gears
