Listen to this sir: if your voice is shitty without auto tune, it’s gonna sound shitty with auto tune. Do I agree that his voice sounds a tad different without auto tune? Yes. But I assure you right now every vocal artist on this planet uses auto tune to an extent. Facts.

Not only is the chorus incredible but each verse is totally different in terms of the sound. Already a huge fan of DGD but I cannot wait for the new album!!

Ahhh yes, I love this song. Such a great single to come from the new album. Super excited about this too!!
Plus tilians voice is soooo unique
I never really realized it before, but Lindsay was spot on with the chorus being the highlight of most of their songs. "I've got lies to tell your children!" "Don't get all sentimental about it, oh no." "I just crashed my car, and it got me thinking of you." Some of their songs seem to have multiple choruses as well. That's a part of the DGD "formula": A really catchy hook, woven with ridiculous individual technical skill. I could listen to any of their songs for hours.
Tilian is the best singer out there in these types of genres, and it’s not even close in my opinion.

Yessssss!!! Between Jon's gimmick in the video, and the song just slapping. It's a sheer masterpiece, and one of my favorites on Afterburner.

Chino Moreno) yes from Deftones!!! :D, Stroke God Millionaire, annnnnd of course Alex English. c: There's so many more that are bangers but these never get a chance to be heard by newer listeners.

Mothership is still their best album imo. From beginning to end, it just feels like the best album as a whole.

@@MrWafflesPaniniDBZTCG Yeah I am by no means saying that any of their other albums are bad. Every DGD album has atleast 2 or 3 really really good songs. However, Mothership happens to have a ton of them that are really catchy and memorable.
@@SolidGoldoni very true and the numbers prove it. In fact most of the singles on that album had a lot of views. Inspire the Liars has 6.5 mil same as Betrayed by the Game. Chucky has 4m5 mil or something, so a lot of the songs were memorable indeed.

The entire video is slowly going deeper into a trip, so I'm not really surprised that drums sound vs visual mismatch. It could be completely intentional to progress through the trip.
