  • How can you get rid of boils naturally and quickly?
Boils occur when a bacteria called staphylococcus aureus infects hair follicles or oil glands on the skin
When it starts out, a boil will be pea-sized and red. As it fills with pus, it will grow and become more painful. The skin around the boil will also be red and possibly swollen. The very top of the bump will eventually have a tip on it that is yellowish-white in colour. After some time, this tip will burst and begin leaking pus. Areas most likely to be affected are the face, back of the neck, armpits, thighs, and buttocks.
There are various ways you can treat a boil. These are things that you can do at home easily and the products you can use are products you might even have in your kitchen cupboard at home
    1. The number 1 and very important way to get rid of a boil naturally and quickly is: Do not pop or squeeze the boil as it can spread the infection deeper and cause a secondary infection. It can also make it more painful
2,. Apply a warm washcloth or compress to the affected area several times a day about three to 4 times a day will do, do this for 10minutes each time. This will help draw the infection to the surface of the tissue, soften the skin, relieve pain, and encourage the boil to drain. I
    3. . bathe or shower every day and wash your hands regularly
    4. wash your towels and bedding at least once a week at a high temperature
    5. These natural products may also help.
    - The first one is Tea tree oil.
    - Turmeric powder. Turmeric powder has antibacterial properties
-Epsom salt Epsom salt isn’t just a relaxing remedy. It may help treat boils, too. The salt may help dry out the pus, causing the boil to drain.
    - Castor oil - Castor oil has both anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and this makes castor oil a great natural treatment to try for boils
    - Magnesium Sulphate paste- This works by drawing the infected pus to the surface of the skin before rupturing and leaking out.

Thanks! I had a golf ball sized boil under my armpit for a week. I was in excruciating pain! I tried squeezing in hopes that it would pop...NOTHING. Took your advice, soaked a rag in warm water and epsam salt for 15 mins. The next morning, the swelling had subsided drastically! At around lunch time I took a peek and it not only had come to a head, but it was draining! I squeezed and more came gushing out. This will be my new remedy for here forward.

I'm getting boils in the same area for over a year now, it's in my private part, in inner labia minora or inner lips. I get them after 1 month or 2 or more, mostly I get them when I'm having my period. It's very painful that i can't walk probably and it hurts 24 hours, after 2 to 3 days it pops itself and drains, I even got it cut surgically but it still coming back after months. I don't have diabetes nor I'm overweight So what can I do now, please inform me!

First of all you need to find out what is triggering it then get a thorough check from a doctor. I posted a video on how to prevent vaginal boils so check it out for more information.

If it has drained, then leave it to heal on its own, you can cover it with sterile dressing to prevent further infection and to help it heal

    • @TimewithLydiaThePharmacist
      @TimewithLydiaThePharmacist  Před rokem

Names of medications vary based on where you live. In the uk 🇬🇧 you can get a plain antiseptic cream over the counter from the pharmacy. It is called antiseptic cream or a brand called savlon . An antibiotic cream will have to be prescribed by a doctor in the UK. Don't know about where you live.
