About My Little Bride (어린 신부)
In this hit romantic comedy, high school student Bo-eun is forced into an arranged marriage with the adorable but way older Sang-min because of a pact their grandfathers made during the Korean war. She says I have everything I want, I get everything I want, but I don’t ask for much. Her buying me materialistic item means that I have everything what more could I ask her. But I don’t want things, item, clothes, I just want a mother that could be there for me. For anyone who wants to watch this plz keep in mind that it did come out about 16 years ago meaning that some of the jokes did not age well and do come off very misogynistic. The early 2000s was definitely still pretty “old fashioned”. But other than that it’s a great film! Definitely a not so serious, feel good kind of movie that mimics everyday life...Minus the child marriage part 😂

My Little Bride is so funny! Kim Rae Won is such a cutie! And Moon Geun Young is adorably funny! I’ve already watched it awhile ago and the scenes made me laugh and this preview makes me want to watch it all over again!

She is 16 and in highschool and does not want to get married but her grandpa is like: ''but imma dieee soon'' So she agrees to marry this guy who she hasn't seen in a long time. He even turns out to become her teacher. It's a bit creepy.

I remember watching this movie when I was in elementary. I really loved this movie because of what happened during her husband’s compulsory military training.
This looks like hilarious and really cute. I'm like uh uh wait she is how old ...but if they keep it cordial than maybe I'll give it a chance . They are both very childish so definitely looks like something to take a lot of time to develop .

Maybe this kind of marriage arrangement was popular in 2004, I heard many people got married in 16,17 in our country also around that time. But this was 16 years ago so people might not do that anymore. In Asia, if the bride and groom are OK and their parents agreed too they could get married.
