Yes, because chemical reaction kits dont exist and they haven't heard of the technique "random sampling" or "sample every shipment"😂

They have dogs to sniff these type of drugs. But not sure if the unit is ever ready

Yes this is totally unacceptable, an MP7 would be a very valuable piece of contraband, they would have disassembled it completely, packed every part deep inside something solid and wrapped all the lead and rfid material around it. You would have to nuke the vehicle or tear it apart to find it 😂
@@jessicaregina1956 Right. I hope they don't give the trainees such unrealistic expectations to work at the checkpoints. Almost every firearm can be disassembled and conveyed in parts.

What is the scope of authority of the ICA. These should be the job of the CUSTOM. There is this cross over of Authority.

@@LadBooboo Hello, you fail already. ICA is Immigrations & Checkpoints Authority. Customs is Customs. Different agency. ICA is in-charge of people clearance, Customs is in-charge of goods clearance.

@@LadBooboo Of course all under one Home Team umbrella, but they have different job responsibilities. I work for one of the Home Team agencies and I can tell you - we always refer cases found to the relevant agency: controlled drugs go to CNB Enforcement, vapes go to HSA Enforcement, contraband cigarettes go to Customs Enforcement. You think everything only handled by ICA?

If the laws don't make sense, you can't expect people to obey and follow. Almost everything else is illegal in sg except alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine.
