    That little thing is a beast…. I’d be curious to see how far you could get with the pond as well as digging out a stump with the backhoe

    I have a Struck and I love it. The best part that few people talk about is they are extremely easy to maintain. Unlike most manufacturers, there are no proprietary parts to these things. Most wear items can be obtained at the local tractor store, auto store, or online. There is no special Struck hydraulic fluid or filter, there are no special Struck hydraulic lines, there is no special Struck anything. So even though they may seem “just as expensive” at first, you aren’t owned by Struck after purchase.
    Second thing that should be mentioned. Their customer service is unbelievably good. If you actually do order parts from them, you are talking to someone in Wisconsin. Then if you have a question they will patch you over to a person that actually builds the things.
    I own a Kubota tractor and a Struck mini dozer. They each have their own benefits and drawbacks.

    Informative video. The backhoe now comes with hydraulic stabilizers and joystick controls. Also, hydraulic dumping front bucket is an option now.

    Impressive,professionally done informative video. Long overdue.Just purchased both an RS1000 AND MH4900 similarly configured- the nae-sayers haven't clue as to the machine's capabilities.

    Good to see a current assessment of this machine. Definite motivation to purchase one once gone from communist MD and moving somewhere else. Real world tests....and they're on one of the smallest models you can get.

    Awesome Video! I think the "flex" with lifting the trailer on the front ball is from the metal in the blade and not in the hydraulic cylinder! Bet it would lift more with a sturdier front ball! Thanks for the Info...

    As far as trenching goes do think that’s as capable as a smaller mini ex say a Kobelco 13sr. I have a tractor but wanting something to do my shovel work. I did notice the newer rs1000 seem to have Duel stick controls and hydraulic stabilizers

      My Terramite T7 in the same class machine has controls like his Struct Corp machine but the Terramite is a regular TLB built out of thicker steel built to last It is a popular rental machine I love the stick controls no wobble stick linkages to wear out if you run a lot of different equipment from friction to hydraulic you get use to it 😍😍😍😍

    I'd would be curious how long the belts actually last on this newer magnatrac dozer. He seems to be really working it. I wonder if it comes with an hour meter to track maintenance.

    • @johnreno9418
      @johnreno9418 Před rokem +3

      I have an RS1000 and am replacing the clutch belts now at 40 hours of use on the ETI meter. I live in KY and have a lot of limestone and clay, so when it came to his test for the carrying capacity of the shovel, I knew it could handle more than he was working it. My largest project was a 150' long 3' deep trench for water out to my barn, so with all of the rock I put a lot of stress on the clutch belts. My only disappointment with the RS1000 is that it cannot climb a 15 degree slope, 7 degrees is very difficult.

      @@johnreno9418 It's to bad struck doesn't do away with the belts in favor of hydraulic pumps and drives especially for the price of their new machines. I don't think they will be able to compete with the mini excavator market if they don't update their design. You shouldn't have to rebuild the drive system in just forty hours of use.I had the same issue with my struck dozer.

    • @ronbell7920
      @ronbell7920 Před 8 měsíci +1

      I have the MH-4900, with the 6-way dozer blade. If I had a chance to do it over I would purchase the loader with the dozer blade attachment. Then one would have the ability to add "mini-skid steer" attachments. Like a grapple, bush hog, flail mower, you get the idea.

    • @ronbell7920
      @ronbell7920 Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@VroomNBoom , being able to put the bush hog on the front is a game changer. The little dozer will go where your compact tractor just can't. I have two 4 wheel drive Kubotas. The little dozer can put work both of them on steep grades, and rough stuff. They do move faster, but aren't near as maneuverable. It becomes a trade off. If I had to have just one, I would get the Magnatrac.

    • @VroomNBoom
      @VroomNBoom Před 8 měsíci

      @@ronbell7920 yeah I could see that I'd want the MH8500 but from what I have seen they use the same hydraulics the 4900 use and their hydraulics are a bit weaker than I'd like on a small dozer of that size and that's all id use it for is dozing and ripping

    • @ronbell7920
      @ronbell7920 Před 8 měsíci

      @@VroomNBoom for me the reality is that they have it engineered about right. As a general rule one runs out of traction about the same time as power. With the dozer blade, ripper, and ROPS, the machine only weighs 4000#. It is no D-3!
