Kaido is a monster.
He's fought a hoard of sulong minks, The Scabbards, Five members of the worst generation, Yamato, and now Luffy again. He's not like Big Mom where his defenses are so high he's just ignoring damage, Kaido's health bar is just bigger than every From Soft boss combined. He's been taking damage constantly this arc but it's just so miniscule to him. All of that while lifting an island.
I genuinely don't think anyone could beat Kaido in a straight 1 vs 1 where both parties are in prime condition and there's no outside assistance. Kaido has just been so disgusting I just don't see anyway anyone tops him right now, especially after the most recent chapter.

Even Yamato admitted that she's not damaging him. An enma powered Asura didn't even make Kaido stumble. At best Luffy is fighting Kaido at 90%, but Luffy himself has been dealt a lot of damage and is in no way as durable as Kaido (at least that should be the case). And yet Luffy is somehow going toe to toe. To me it's a cop-out that CP0 interrupted the fight because it really looked like Oda was gonna give Luffy the W.

Yamato never said she isn't damaging him. She said that she can't beat him, but she can fight him and stall him.
She made him bleed from his skin and did fill him with multiple attacks and damaged him so much that let him all bruised for multiple chapters. She even did fall down and Kneel kaido
She was trading blows and blocking attacks from Hybrid Kaido.
Yamato is so strong that kaido had to go straight to hybrid form since the start of the fight.
She even tied with kaido in a clash of Thunder Bagua, she never go blitzed by kaido, she tanked many hits from kaido and she didn't reach her limit and is still fresh.
She is second strongest in Alliance Side and is more close to Luffy kaido and Big mom in question of overall power.

For us weekly readers we probably think this arc isnt the best mostly because of its length and odd writing choices but in reality wano is the most inpactful adventurous and action filled arc in the entire series there has also been no arc either that gives us so much lore i reread from 909-current and when you binge this arc its a non stop page turner i have to agree with my mans Tyquan wano is the best arc
Agreed if oda didnt flesh everything out and left that to the anime/vivre cards/movies and had good pacing and better thought out fights OP would be a god tier shounen and wano would be a top 10 shounen arc

I think what makes people think wano is too long or weird is that it's so hype, that you just want to know what the conclusion is. U just wanna see luffy finally beat a yonko, u wanna learn about the lore and all that stuff, so you just focus on these things and focus on getting to the end, forgetting all the awesome stuff that is happening in between
Wano is bad because the writing and pacing sucks. The raid in particular is egregious because of the massive power creep. All the good parts in Wano happened in flash backs or events outside the island
@@remus4283- no it’s good because of all the fights and growth and seeing characters going completely all out. The difference between the Marinford pacing and Wano pacing is Wano has many characters that need their moments and Oda has made sure they get their moments and Marineford focused on Luffy and none of the crew was their to fight.

Not really, considering the story hypes up how only one other person in the entire series managed to leave a lasting scar on kaido. People have made him bleed and beaten him before, but only Oden and zoro left a scar.
It's more akin to someone biting off a chunk of your ear off or something. Something that'll always stick with you that you can't cover up or grow back

Once again ,Ty is way underestimating the tax that Kaido has on him from all the fights PLUS lifting onigashima. If Luffy with CoC infusion at 100% fought Kaido at 100% without him lifting Onigashima, I would still give it to Kaido. It would be a high diff fight for Kaido for sure, but I think after the next arc, or after the next powerup if it happens in Wano, is when Luffy will be undisputedly Yonko or Yonko+ level (if the series goes to higher levels of power).

Kaido has also been fighting everyone and everything, had to fight the red scabbards, sulong minks, then luffy-kid-law-zoro-killer at once (and he crushed all of them with BM assist). Yamato then showed up to buy some time, letting luffy and momo get back to the top where they done a little bit of damage again. Kaido been doing all this fighting in 1 NIGHT.

No Kaido was dodging luffy before they. Law landed a gamma knife Kidd was slamming kaido which does internal damage. Zoro is the only one who left a scar but that’s literally all he did. I’d take being able to slam kaido over leaving a scar like that. One he barely cared about.

Also when Zoro countered Kaido’s dragon twister with his own he had Kaido stuck for a bit and the cut him.

The Power scaling is chaos in this arc to salvage the invaders are the rightful winners; because they were able to match up slowly but surely. CP0 board became lopsided, to go along with Hawkins predictions of difficulty it's a massive wreck.
Jimbei had an easy time here a character of his stature willing to come here to fight it was expected a hearty up for the fight opponent was lined up for a warlord even if Who's Who got his name called, the man was not up to par. This is a Yonkou crew member even the riff raff extras Whitebeard called on could manage at Marine Ford.
My view of Luffy getting multiple do overs since Crocodile should have ended after Katakuri when Luffy was mindful he is doing a run and gun attacks multiple times; just to underestimate Kaidou despite warnings that go back as far as Moria. He is getting fifth emperor nodes from everyone not in their ranks, yet it supposed to stick that he is rightfully in their ranks. The narrative conflicts with the depiction.

Amassing alies the Scabbards had a long awaited day for the attack, and the bosses in jail did not back Luffy they did it to support the old boss who vouched for Luffy. They came to accept Luffy but it was not only due to Luffy.

Not because Luffy recruited them due to his power/leadership, stop that.
When they first got to wano their captain Luffy was captured early. Look I’m all for giving credit but it’s a combination of multiple things that happen. The Strawhats tucked tail and ran from Big Mom crew because they simply weren’t powerful enough, if they stayed they would have all been trashed. Even with Zoro there, see the difference?

I can see why TY would think the gap between big mom eventual fight isn't that big. But in pretty sure when we get there odas gonna have buffed up big mom so high it's a different level.
This entire time it's been Luffy catching BM off guard and making her react even coming to wano was a snap decision.
I think this will have something to do with the interaction between Marco and big mom where he mentioned that unlike many he knows how dangerous she can be, and BM mentions "Soul Weapons" something that could be different to her homies.
I think after this loss to kid and law she's going to go prepare fully, as many souls and soul weapons and homies she can get her hands on with the best of her crewe fully armed for war!
So what Ty is saying is that Luffy powered up so much in a matter of minutes/hours, that he'll be able to do 4x the damage that ALL of the scabbards and the 5 supernovae (including himself) did, before he figured out CoC infusion?

@@garou417, external Devil Fruit abilities are always tied to stamina, including that of zoans. Marco specifically said his abilities has a limit. Yamato also linked the cloud to Kaido's state. Kaido is in the same boat.
The amount of asspull in Wano is insane. You can combine all the plot convinience and asspull up untill Wano on one side and Wano asspull and Plot convinience on other side and it will be a one sided in favor of Wano

Full HP Kaido vs Full HP Luffy = Kaido wins. Until Luffy solves his G4 time limit situation, he wouldn’t be able to beat Kaido when he runs out of haki. Kaido can just stay defensive until G4 runs out.
