I'm not Catholic but I respect the reverence and the devotion catholics have in praising God. As opposed to these churches indistiguishable from night clubs and concerts. God Bless.
yeah, We make more sense than a lot of other churches And Catholic is the original branch of Christianity, You don't have to be catholic or Christian to see that we at least make sense
I attended a funeral yesterday for my friend at a Catholic Church. The lady who sang the songs during the service had a voice that filled the church with such a presence of God that it sounded like a whole choir was there. One song that particularly did it to me was a song that I did not know the title. So I Googled around and this site came up. This video is beautiful. While listening to it the song was on it - " Lamb of God ". The tune and words just sticks to you and can hum it all day long. I am excited and want to thank all for making this video. May I kindly ask prayers for my mom. Her life as you can well imagine with funerals, weddings, First Communion, Confirmation, Holy Days....she has committed her life to Jesus and Mary, thus despite pandemic and an illness that is clearing up, church ☘️ 🙏🏻🕊🌹is her life. I understand and very much share your joy and, at the same time, remind everyone here of this all-important verse in the song that exams the WHY of that joy and WHO are those "greatest and least" invited in. The verse is "We hold the memory of Christ, the Lord. So we become what we eat" [Jesus in the Holy Communion]. REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION IN OBEDIENCE TO JESUS-GOD is what makes us invited to the Heavenly Banquet, regardless of the gravity of our past sins. The most diabolical doctrine is not actually sin but that we are all so very fine without any repentance whatsoever and that sin always has an opportune explanation that "sanctifies" that sin, so we must never judge sin as sin. The Truth is we must fear the most the Devil's sentimental "mercy" and abhor all sin, which is the result of REALLY believing and loving God and each other. Calling cancer a good and wonderful thing does not cure it. Same with sin.

Absolutely beautiful!! ⛪🎶. Have been Anglican Church all my life, but very familiar with much of the Roman Catholic Mass music offered here in this video. Thanks be to God we have finally learned, at least here in North America, that's it's ONE God, but numerous ways to worship. Thanks for sharing, and many blessings.
This is beautiful, thank you! I've not ever heard the Communion Anthem, that was gorgeous! For about 2 months now we've been able to have more than one singer and musician at Mass. It varies as to who shows up, but 5 of us show up consistently every week: our piano man extraordinaire, our choir director on guitar who sings tenor, us two sopranos and a bass. We can't practice together at any point during the week so about a half hour before Mass is the only time we get to bring it all together. We have our flub-ups and miscues but we don't sound too bad at all. We're all just grateful to have the opportunity to once again glorify God with our voices.

The Lamb of God piece and the Our Father were sung at the second mass I attended for the re-dedication of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portage Wisconsin. I may be an Evangelical Christian but I thank you my brethren. We are family under the cross, and I look forward to worship one day in person here, or in His everlasting kingdom.

I remember these old songs. I was particularly fond of our rendition of “Holy, Holy, Holy” which was a bit longer and tied into the great “Amen”. It was easy to believe in those days. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t lost my faith. It was nice thinking someone was watching over me. But the hypocrisy of this world, the unpitying Catholic school system, and several personal tragedies crushed it long ago. But sometimes I still like to listen to the hymns and dare to hope again.

I understand and very much share your joy and, at the same time, remind everyone here of this all-important verse in the song that exams the WHY of that joy and WHO are those "greatest and least" invited in. The verse is "We hold the memory of Christ, the Lord. So we become what we eat" [Jesus in the Holy Communion]. REPENTANCE AND CONVERSION IN OBEDIENCE TO JESUS-GOD is what makes us invited to the Heavenly Banquet, regardless of the gravity of our past sins.
The most diabolical doctrine is not actually sin but that we are all so very fine without any repentance whatsoever and that sin always has an opportune explanation that "sanctifies" that sin, so we must never judge sin as sin.
The Truth is we must fear the most the Devil's sentimental "mercy" and abhor all sin, which is the result of REALLY believing and loving God and each other. Calling cancer a good and wonderful thing does not cure it. Same with sin.

This is beautiful, thank you! I've not ever heard the Communion Anthem, that was gorgeous! For about 2 months now we've been able to have more than one singer and musician at Mass. It varies as to who shows up, but 5 of us show up consistently every week: our piano man extraordinaire, our choir director on guitar who sings tenor, us two sopranos and a bass. We can't practice together at any point during the week so about a half hour before Mass is the only time we get to bring it all together. We have our flub-ups and miscues but we don't sound too bad at all. We're all just grateful to have the opportunity to once again glorify God with our voices.

I remember these old songs. I was particularly fond of our rendition of “Holy, Holy, Holy” which was a bit longer and tied into the great “Amen”. It was easy to believe in those days. Sometimes I wish I hadn’t lost my faith. It was nice thinking someone was watching over me. But the hypocrisy of this world, the unpitying Catholic school system, and several personal tragedies crushed it long ago. But sometimes I still like to listen to the hymns and dare to hope again.
