    personal opinion: Companies should offer sunroof only as an optional feature instead of making it standard. Sunroof is the least useful feature but significantly increases price of a vehicle. In a country like ours where we need to use AC 8-9months out of 12months every year, sunroof makes no sense. Also, the dust that enters vehicle when you open sunroof is another challenge. In place of sunroof we can have many features that will be used daily & can increase safety features too.

      Exactly!! Better still provide solar panels instead of sunroof's money.
      Give sunroof as an option!

      Ac loads are increased much more because of darker colours
      But still dark colours do sell
      So it is always not that sunroof is impractical
      Open it with its tilt function the are very good during rains when you need natural airflow inside cars
      Also it gives good natural light and makes car feel less claustrophobic (of course not under heavy sun)
      Places like Pune it works wonderfully

    There is huge difference between front connected light of verna and nexon
    Nexon looks muscular while Verna lost its aggression (became lappu)

      India has same technology for battery as others. For example BYD gives you range above 500 kms at 60 KWh battery so overall the tech is comparable. Do you know any car which runs for more than 500 kms at just 30 kwh battery? Then it would be called a ground breaking battery technology.

      @@bigdaddymogu Tesla's batteries are produced by Panasonic but efficiency is not path breaking compared to what Tata is getting. Simple logic is smaller batteries give you shorter ranges. Lucid air gets 520 miles for a 118Kwh battery, which is 837 kms, now check these figures with Nexon whose 40 Kwh battery gives 450 km claimed range, that is about 11 km per Kwh of power from battery while Lucid air battery which is largest battery gives only 837 kms for 118 Kwh capacity that is only7.5 km per Kwh. So your expectation of range is unrealistic and not in sync with current research.

      @@bigdaddymogu yes size weight and cost. Indian market isn't mature enough to spend 40 lakh plus on electric vehicles. CNG took about a Decade to get adopted and some strictures from courts to get CNG technology rolling. This is common phenomenon.

    How is the legroom in the rear so less? It's almost same as an Alto.

      He's 6ft tall. Front seat adjusted for his height. And yes, the legroom is less. Suvs are terribly inefficient when it comes to space inside car. Nothing beats sedan when it comes to rear seat and cabin comfort.

    Sad to see MotorBeam's video and audio quality going down with every video. For such an important car, I was expecting a much better video. The audio over here is trashy and the presenter seems to not be interested in the car at all. The content is all over the place without a sense of direction and flow. MotorBeam, to get the video out as fast as possible, you guys have thrown quality off the table much faster.

    Seems to be a good car but the range is not so impressive. The long range will give a total run of 350 km or so. A range of 550 km+ should be the aim as several other car makers will soon offer a range of between 550-700 kms. You may have to wait for another 6 months to a year at the most.

    Battery replacement will cost almost 7 to 8 lakhs and I don't this this car has much resale value. But it's attractive due to being an ev. Waiting for sonet facelift. It's either sonet or this ev that I want to buy but can't decide

    Still this is far below mg zs ev in terms of premiumness and all safety features ,adas 2.,panoramic sunroof,faster acceleration,,quiter cabin,,no jerk even in extreme bad road...and a damn great service from mg TEAM...❤🎉...anyday I will choose mg zs ev 9ver Tata 😅

      Aerodynamic influence in india is minimal as compared to US or europe as streets here are jam-packed and highways are full of trucks anyway. And u cant expect a cheap 400+ claimed range ev vehicle anywhere in the world. Cheap as in electric vehicle standards.
