    it really sucks that chas did not let robert tell aaron. once again shes protecting her son but at the cost of roberts true love and work hes doing to b a better man for aaron. not the best idea.

    Why do I really have to see people in the comments blaming Aaron for what Robert did? It was Roberts actions and it was Roberts betrayal that made everything that's about to happen, happen. periodt. 👏 and yes clearly these are fictional characters but some of us are rooting for Aaron to have a happy ending lol it's not that deep 😉

      You're wrong of course. Aaron is not blame directly, but he did contribute to Robert's emotional state prior to 'the event'. As for it being a betrayal, bitch please, Robert made a stupid mistake and did so while drunk; that not an excuse, but it is a reason. I love Aaron, but he does contribute to his own heartache with his words and actions and people constantly infantilizing him is what causes a lot of the problems. Thankfully, I know (as do many) Liv does finally gives Aaron a hard lesson on just how self-absorbed he is later on in the show.

      @@JonInCanada1 lol im not wrong 🤔 what robert did was ABSOLUTELY a betrayal, especially to aaron. "Robert's emotional state prior" is NOT an excuse OR a reason for cheating, plus aaron never spoke of them being over at all!🧐 The only one to blame, in the instance of cheating in a relationship, IS the cheater, period. 💅 and no one is saying that any of these characters (including aaron) are perfect but in this particular situation aaron is NOT to blame for robert being spiteful and destroying their relationship. 👌

      @@sophiaheartsy3432 First off, Robert didn't cheat and I wish people would mindful of that. He was drunk, Rebecca was sober and she took advantage in the hopes of getting Robert back. And before you make the excuses many have made, consider that if the genders were reversed you'd be calling it rape, so just don't. You're saying Robert was being spiteful, yet seem to excuse Aaron's part in all this and yes, he played a part. Interesting
      Also, if you're going to say Robert's emotional state is invalid, then conversely, neither are Aaron's and yet people make that very argument. All I ask for in people is consistency. I know Robert's a mess, never claimed he wasn't, but I also understand that people are complex creatures. For me, watching Aaron constantly go off the deep end is very concerning for me because he is a darling man; however, he can't continue to be infantilized (looking at Chaz, Paddy and Adam) by everyone, that's not helping him, it's enabling his psychosis.

      @@JonInCanada1 🤨🤨Robert did cheat & he WAS being spiteful and he even says so himself in a later scene. He did it SPECIFICALLY to hurt aaron... that is spite. Also he mentions that he was very aware of everything that went down that night and admits he had to convince rebecca (he didnt have to try too hard tbh)(+rebecca OFCOURSE has a part to play in the cheating as well) to sleep with him. So yes his "feelings" do not matter to me in this situation where he used Aaron's biggest insecurities to hurt him. Aaron may suffer with mental illness but he has not done some of the low things Robert has. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️

    i wish Chas let Robert tell him, then Aaron wouldn't be angry at him for lying and maybe Aaron would've seen that he pushed Robert away so much and the breakup wouldn't have happened

      @Kate B. u really make an effort on hating a fictional character hahaja i see u in a lot of comments hating robert.
      A personal experience?

    • @alsappy8
      @alsappy8 Před 5 lety +10

      @Kate B. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinion. But I'm going to explain a little more because I realise that I didn't word it very well.
      1) Aaron pushed Robert away with his jealousy because he kept on not trusting Robert. Having someone not trust you is awful and after a while you just give up, Robert did this and that's when Aaron attacked Kasim (which was not okay and he shouldn't of used what happened with Robert to justify it, people break up and DON'T hit people).
      2) In prison Aaron lied to him, made him worried sick by Rob not being able to see him and when he finally does, Aaron lies to his face and tells him to leave him alone. Having someone you absolutely love become addicted to drugs and fall apart and being able to do nothing about it, that is heart breaking and Robert misinterpreted it as them being over (which he shouldn't of done but I can see why he did).
      3) Then he got drunk, you can't fully consent when you're intoxicated. He made the mistake of calling Bex (I agree he shouldn't of done it) but Rob is the type of person to make someone hurt just as much as they hurt him (he's done it before). Rebecca however, was sober and had even said no and said he didn't know what he was doing. Robert did bad things, the main one being slept with Rebecca.
      Finally I am not saying that I am blaming Aaron or letting Robert of the hook, I'm saying that Aaron played a part, so did Robert and so did Rebecca. They are all guilty for playing a part one way or another. So people can say Aaron is completely innocent but I disagree with that and that's fine. You don't have to be rude to people because you don't like a character. :)

      @@alsappy8 exactly, i don't think either of them is totally innocent, but you can't dump all the blame on just one of them? they both had it very bad, and they both had different (unhealthy) coping mechanisms.

    Hey Chas, Robert didn't force you to lie, you made that choice all on your own and by doing so, deprived Robert of being honest with Aaron, the very thing you claim he isn't. You really have some nerve.
