LET'S GET OUT OF OUR COMFORT ZONES TODAY!!!!
So true - change comes from getting outside your comfort zones. Just over a year ago I had some stuff to work out, childhood traumas, and I prayed for a good therapist to help me get things in order….God supplied me a better one…..a Christian therapist. God has taken over since I finished therapy and growth has definitely come from outside the comfort zone. It was not easy but every new situation I put myself into, I prayed right before it. Joined a drama group (to build confidence) - God was there. Bought a car and did my first drive 200+ miles in an unknown place - I was kept safe. And finally, I want to become a teacher….God was most definitely with me when I did a full weeks work experience in an academy. Prayer before each brought a certain calmness over me that let me know Jesus was walking with me. Just over a year ago, I would have done none of these. Pray, push yourself and prove the devil wrong.
Lord please help me to control my thoughts in this new year ahead.
