Another awesome video from you Sven! In the video, you say something about choosing 3 shots that you use continuously. I play on the right side and hit a lot of balls on the cross, against the fence or double glass. Sometimes when a slightly high soft ball comed floating, I often manage to think through 3 or 4 scenarios 🤯 it seems as if the ball is going in slow motion 😅 and then I choose to hit the ball down the line and it ends up with the ball smaking in the back glass, the side glass or the net. Should I practice this shot or just cross even more? 🎾
I think with a high ball you can go to the fence. But fast on the feet would be great. I think it would be good to play fast parallel when your contact point is high.
Would be good if you have that as “only” option. For the moment, so it becomes a weapon first
@@OtroNivelPadel thanks for the reply😊 just to g’et it rigth. You would suggest to play more balls down the line, in the hope that this shot may one day become a weapon. Rather than keep playing cross court 😊🎾
one of your best, this guy has the same faults as myself so it was very helpful / any tips/tricks to make myself prepare earlier and shorter?
Prepare shorter and smaller so it takes less time. Have your basic preparation higher

The student ask a really good question about high balls on the volley. What about the high balls hit directly on you ? That's a really uncomfortable position to smash or even have a good preparation for a volley, and I can't figure out what to do.
Well.. if it is fast and high its proberly out. If not sometimes you can let it pass and you use the glass.
Or you just block it with a short movement, try to hit the sidewall cross maybe
