- Satisfye's ZenGrip Pro is known for being the best grip for the Nintendo Switch, this is because it completely fixes the ergonomics of the Switch for a truly playable handheld experience. We didn't think it could get any better than that... but we were wrong.
Satisfye are releasing the ZenGrip Ronin this November for both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch OLED. We're lucky enough to get it early, here's everything you need to know about it!

Just got my pled today, and going to get this zen grip ronin now, you’ve convinced me!!!❤ Love the video!😊
Thank you for this great comparison ❤
This grip looks legit. I’m really considering getting it next month. I play my OLED handheld majority of the time and my right hand cramps up after a short while. Hopefully this grip will help 👍🏽
Oh this will 100% help, this is the best grip out there for ergonomics!
These types of grips are basically mandatory for the Switch. Hopefully the Switch 2 has this built into it, so we don't have to buy an accessory to make it "work properly".
100%
From uk and got a nitro deck and not really enjoying it mainly due to right thumbstick and no hd rumble, is it worth getting the ronin and selling the nitro deck or stick with nitro deck?
Are you going to get the Mario skull & co grip
does this fit the older satisfye case?
I ordered the ronin elite bundle mid October and I still haven’t gotten it. I’m quite sad that I can’t play with this grip today with Mario RPG. I paid a lot for shipping for it to take so long to arrive.
I also wanted to order their stylth grip for my steam deck but I’m rethinking that since the shipping is expensive and it just takes too long. I ordered the Nyxi Hyperion joycons like two weeks after the ronin and those already arrived
Its preorder period. They only will start shipping on the first week of December
I've preorderd all 3 bundle variants because I love satisfye's products and also because I'm crazy 😂
Hahah you're crazy but it's an awesome grip!
Does it fit the old switch dock?
So as someone who is going to buy a switch at somepoint and has never played one. Would you recommend the satisfye zengrip/ronin or the nitro deck? I have been looking at both, but wanted an opinion from someone like you, who has played with both.
I need to do a video with both in because honestly it's tough, the ZenGrip/Ronin is THE BEST grip you can, I 100% stand by that, it fixes the handheld problems completely and gives you all the functionality of the Switch's joycons like HD rumble etc. especially paired with the RYZE pads it makes the joysticks nicer to use too but of course the joycons can develop drift over time. Whereas, the Nitro Deck is really not comfortable in comparison to the ZenGrip/Ronin BUT it gives you extra features, like hall effect joysticks that are not only larger like an actually controller, they also won't drift and are more accurate, then it gives you back paddles to bind buttons to, record macros, turbo, use it as a separate controller whilst docked etc... It's a really tough call and honestly I love both, the BIGGEST problem with the Nitro Deck is the ergonomics and lack of HD rumble.
So if comfort is your biggest thing (and really it's important) the ZenGrip/Ronin wins but if you want more functionality and extra features with hall effect joysticks that are really good, Nitro Deck is the one for you. Tough call for sure.
Cool thanks man. So honestly probably the best bet would be Satisfye and then at some point swap in some gulikit hall effect sticks? I really don't need the extra functions of the Nitro Deck it just looked like it offered more protection than the Zengrip. But then you hear connectivity problems and this and it makes you wonder if it's worth the hassle
I pre-ordered mine back on September the 16th still waiting for a notification of shipment
Awesome, hope you like it!
Why am I reminded of ReviewTechUSA’s Satisfye sponsorship? That’s what I think of the Satisfye brand because of him. 😂
Does the old satisfye storage case work for this one?
Sadly I don't have the old case to test it 😭
So here’s my question: when you have your switch docked with the grip, can you still use the USB ports?
You can’t use the bottom one. However you can use the top usb port.
Can't wait to get my mythic edition. I wish I did not waste my money on the crkd nitrodeck.
Mythic edition looks amazing. I still genuinely love the Nitro Deck BUT the ergonomics are terrible and pale in comparison to the ZenGrip/Ronin. This is ultimate comfort for the Switch for sure, I'll have to do a comparison video.
@@128KB I really dislike the right analog stick on the nitrodeck. But I absolutely hate the triggers. They are so sensitive. I barely even rest my finger on them and they're firing
is dock able honorable mention
Hi mate this coming to the uk cheers
Sadly you'd have to import from America, as I said in the video it works out silly expensive to bring into the UK. You're best looking at the Skull & Co grips that are much easier and cheaper to get in the UK. If you're happy to spend a lot of money you can't beat these Satisfye grips though!
@@128KB cheers i will have a look around have a good day matey
@@garywitcomb4750the other zengrip pro featured in this video is available on Amazon UK at a “reasonable” price I think especially if you want the mythic edition. I’m holding out for ronin coming onto Amazon UK fingers crossed.
Is there a difference between the pro and the ronin besides being dockable?
Not really, the ronin can hold 2 game carts in it too
These look like the soul and Co Grips ! Wow lol
It does look similar to the Skull & Co, hadn't realised that haha
I would get this if it wasn't for the fact that it's asymmetric. I understand the reasoning behind thag design choice but my OCD will drive me crazy with this thing. Asymmetrical objects in my day to day use drive me nuts.
As someone who wants held a switch light with the switch light version of this satisfied grip I did not find it comfortable because of the offset. My friend was freaking out because he already owned a grip and he thought this one was way better.
I literally sent him the link to it as a joke because I thought he would laugh at it being offset like I did but then he bought it and was like thanking me because of how much he loved it and then that's how I got to hold it and so I got to confirm that I was right and I do not like the offset.
You've prob known this but there's Skull n Co as an option if you don't like asymmetric, which that only lacks rubber grips but at least its also cheaper
After getting Nyxi Hyperion Pro joycons, I immediately sold my grip. I just don't see the point. Alternative third-party joycons are so much better. All of these grips fix one thing, but don't resolve other issues - the buttons on joycons are still small, the sticks don't have much travel space. It's just pointless to me.
If you care about having the official Joy-Cons because they have all the features and everything or you just don't trust third party at all then these are the only way.
