I totally get it when your girlfriend said some songs make her cry and she doesn’t know why, Sleep Token are that band for me. One night when I couldn’t sleep I listened to TPWBYT and when I got to ‘High Water’ which is my favourite song I just started crying, the level of emotional connection I have with Sleep Token is incredible. Worship

I think certain people have a talented born with sense for music. And it hits people much more emotionally than others. Listening to sleep token is like standing in the ocean and feeling wave after wave of raw emotion hitting your whole body.

Have you ever played the whole album only to restart it again, right after? The opening piano from Atlantic hits so much harder for some reason imo

Jaws....she needs to listen to Jaws, that's what got me into them and now I am OBSESSED! Been a huge fan since then I adore them...and I'm a girl 🤣
I def recommend Blood Sport, both versions but especially the "from the room below" version for hitting the feelings. Also, Atlantic for being soft and emotional!!
Also, the best thing about Sleep Token is that they only have ONE song that goes heavy the whole time and that's Gods. Everything else is just this excellent balance of gorgeous cleans, heavy guitars (most of the time), with a bit of a gritty vocal breakdown (most of the time).
I agree with this ☝️ it's criminally under reacted to.
there are no bad Sleep Token songs. Vessell is an incredible talent.

If you thought Sugar was slow, I'll go ahead and drop "Drag Me Under" as a recommendation. Maybe just for general listening instead of a reaction because it's on the beautiful and ambient side. Post-rock at its best for sure.

I never got into this song as much as some of the others, then I saw it live and it was jammed in my head for months, was in my top 10 listened to songs for 2022
