Everyone complaining about the price and saying “if you didn’t have the crushed pearls it’d be cheaper” but then those same people would complain that it’s not shimmer enough. I absolutely love it and $42? PERFECT PRICE POINT!! I love you and I can’t wait to try this out! ❤️❤️

I want to let you know that I'm here because I was over on Jackie Aina's ch, a woman whom I find to be completely in tune with what's happening in the world of beauty and cosmetics! I am someone who respects and admires Jackie's work so when she did an eye look using your new palette, Jackie began the look by closing her eyes and saying the following "...Nobody deserves more happiness and success than Miss Christen Dominique!". Jackie then went on to say how happy she was for you and "Christen Dominique is just So Nice, and like So Pure and So Sweet and like honestly when I found out she was coming out with her own line I was like...That's like the dream!" Hearing Jackie say that I was really interested in seeing what was to come! Then came the test! We all know that Jackie is known for her sometimes painfully honest product reviews and she's, over time, proven to me that her opinions are pretty much spot on but the final decision is, and will always be, my own! So, I watched and what I saw was something REALLY SPECIAL, Christen! I'll let you in on a little secret of mine! Many times, when I watch reviews of products, I mute the sound and just watch! I watch the application from start to finish and then go back and unmute. What the reviewer says is important to me but what I see with my own eyes is what I trust most of all! I watched Jackie apply your shadows and they were seemingly applying with great ease and I loved the end result! While watching I didn't see any fallout and was wondering if Jackie was noticing the same (remember, I had her on mute!). I watched her build color and thought, that's a great option to have because it's a working palette that will have a broader appeal! And I noted the range of colors and the mix of both mates and foils which were great eye look makers! So from what I could see, I felt I was looking at a really nice palette! Now it was time to turn up the volume and listen to what Ms. Jackie O had to say! Yup! Just as I thought! She LOVED your palette and all of my observations (plus some) were verbally expressed by Jackie as well! Let it be known that I AM NOT a beauty guru by any stretch of the imagination BUT, I like what I like! I am an everyday consumer who I think is pretty good at knowing a quality product when I see it. I've had this palette three weeks now and used it SOLID every day! For someone who owns over 100 palettes, this is huge. I adore it. It's a holy grail, hands down. I haven't said that about any other palette for... A long time! It's perfection. I never ever go wrong when I use it, the number of looks I can create is endless. I'm considering buying another in case it eventually runs out! I am already insanely excited for your next palette!
I don’t see why people don’t like the fact that youtubers are coming out with their own brands? They are some of the world’s most experienced people when it comes to makeup. They review makeup all the time so they definitely know what they’re doing and I’m glad their amazing brands are being brought into the world❤️
Noura Deryan, ikr. they’re products are trusted because they experience of wanting, hating, what they dont like and etc. For me, its like they’ll be the ones who will make our dreams come true when it comes to makeup, because they feel what we feel of a particular texture, pigments and etc.
I wouldnt say experienced especially not the worlds most experienced. That goes to real makeup artists who know everything about makeup. Tones, shades, skincare etc and work on loads of faces not their own and then putting blurring lights up. Good for them for cashing in but please dont act like they're pros

Congrats Christen!! I love watching your videos because not only are you an amazing makeup artist but the connection that you have with your fans is definitely real and admirable. Not gonna lie, I almost cried watching this video because its just so awesome to see the hard work and effort you put it in to create this universal eye palette. Listening to all of the things that inspired the name and different colors and the process you went through is just so admirable and definitely shows how much you deserve this. I especially love that you incorporated coffee into your first palette. I have a pretty strong relationship with my mom and the foundation of that relationship comes from her owning a coffee shop and me growing up with that barista background that I adore. So this palette definitely spoke out to people especially like me. Again I am so proud of you Christen and hope you know what an inspiration you are to women like me!! I see a lot of people complaining about the price point of her palette, but $42 is about the average for any luxury eyeshadow brand. Plus you get what you pay for, this palette is multipurpose, you can set concealer, use it as a bronzer, AND double the foil shadows as highlighters. Altogether you'd pay about the same for those products on their own, if not more.

OMG I CAN'T WAIT FOR IT TO LAUNCH! I really loved the variety of the shades! Definitely going to dip into Double Shot and Cold Brew! I bet i could make a cool mermaid look with those two with one of the foil shades on the inner half of my lid. I also loved the idea of having the shadows be multi purposed. The Mocha and Vanilla Creme shades could be used to contour and highlight! Especially because I have warm toned skin! Can't wait to buy the pallet!

Why the complaints about the cost? so ive seen ppl purchase an urban decay palette for damn near $50 and you get tiny eye shadows....her palette has fewer eye shadows yes but the pan size is huge! You can see the quality of shadows are pigmented and creamy. there is a genuine story behind the palette name even...if you don't have the money at the time being, you can always opt to same $5-$10/paycheck until you can purchase😊. the only thing I would say is there isn't a black in the palette but I personally don't use black on a day to day basis in my looks but I realize that some ppl want day to night looks...this would be a perfect on the go palette for me because of the colors are something I would wear everyday
Tsaiyana Smith and urban decay palettes all look the same and in my opinion they have no pigment whatsoever. Theyre shit. Worst mistake of my life with those palettes

I’m not and avid watcher of her videos. But this pallet is something I want! Yes it’s pricey, but obvs a bunch of money is going in to making these pallets. Plus!
