  • Learn how to install a 12 fiber rack mount patch panel from FIBERONE®. This short video outlines the various parts of the FST-175 12 port patch panel and addresses appropriate cable preparation, splicing method, patch cord installation, and label placement necessary for proper assembly.
The FST-175 is capable of splicing and terminating up to 12 fibers. The universal side mounting brackets make this unit capable of mounting a standard 19-inch or optional 23-inch rack. The versatile swing-out shelf makes connector panels easily accessible. Each unit accepts one splice tray and two six-pack adapter panels or modules with a variety of connector options. This panel provides a durable and economical solution for low-density fiber optic applications.
Typical situations include when outside plant cables are terminated onto the back of a connector panel or where pigtail assemblies are spliced on to the incoming cable. These panels are customizable with the option of being delivered pre-assembled with adapters, splice trays, pigtails, cassettes and pre-terminated cables.

Muhammad Adil don’t use adhesive mounted wire management brackets. They will not stay in place. They look good in the beginning but trust me, they will fail. Overall, nice video.

i got a qstn, why would i remove 40 inches of outer jacket only to cut back 16 inches of fiber, wouldn't it be smarter to strip off only 24 and spare the 16 as slack for the future?
