I was doing some research on the sample and notes used on that hit song by Gotye.. It led me to Luiz. I am so happy about that. I am absolutely amazed by this artist. Glad I found him ;)

@@midnightshadowz12 hahaha almost this sorry for the late response I was searching about Gotye, at that time I had just listened to "Somebody that I used to know", then I found a video that they accused him to copy a brazilian artist. I got intrigued by that and wanted to know why gotye would have used that without permission. Later after some researches I found out that Gotye always has been open about the sample he used in the song, which is really cool. Then I started searching abount Bonfa and man, I was shocked. Despite being brazilian, I didn't know his songs and the Bossa Nova genre. I started searching even more and found Paulinho Nogueira (I recommend you listening to Bachianinha no.1, which is a really nice song). What I like about Bonfa is his groove, I can see his style is different from another Brazilian guitarrists, and I LOVE THIS!!! and what is baa baa black sheep song?
I stumbled onto this by going down a youtube rabbit hole about the girl from ipanema, to how gotye produced his hit 'somebody I used to know' to Luiz Bonfa Seville, and now here.. insane
One curiosity: The 12 string guitar is called "Craviola", it was developed by Paulinho Nogueira (Other great Brazilian guitarrist), you can listen sick sounds of it on his album called "Tons e semitons".
