- It’s time for big games, big laughs, and big prizes with the Nighttime Price is Right! With this episode’s line up of Lucky Seven, Shell Game, and Range Game, where could you go wrong? Where could the contestants go wrong? Watch to find out…
The only 2 real reasons I’ve decided to upload this is because 1. I like the Dennis James episodes of TPIR, and 2. This episode is still considered lost despite the fact it’s been on CZcams for a year now. Big credit goes to @blanquepagegameshows for uploading this episode in a very long compilation, which I will link right now.

Love Dennis James and the way he hosts
NGL, the music in this variation of the show is the most distinct and cool.
Watching the show during the evening was a real treat for families like my own.
1:22 Well, well, *well!* This was a first: an Atari arcade machine being offered as the first IUFB.
Gran Trak 10, the precursor to the Sprint series, culminating with Super Sprint, Championship Sprint, and Badlands, each appearing in the three Midway Arcade Treasures compilations, respectively.
Four years later, Midway/Taito's "Space Invaders" was present in a showcase.
They may have given away a Pong arcade game before this.
@@Nickrj3 I've seen Let's Make A Deal give away Pong video games before on a console television set, but never anything like this.
Very first video machine
Pamela Howard won an airplane some two years later in a similar showcase, and ended up with $24,285 in cash & prizes in all. We hope to see this 1976 episode (152N) in its entirety.
Boy... those night time TPIR showcases were long and they gave away a lot of high dollar loot throughout the whole 30 mins..❤❤❤ Great upload!
From an adult perspective, I kind of enjoyed this. Dennis James would have fit just right in the Drew Carey era with his rapid fire hosting techniques, something that even Bob Barker would have a hard time keeping up with.
This episode shows you how impractical some of the prizes on the show were back in the day. A personal airplane? She was probably happy she went over. I was a showcase winner earlier this season (Season 52) on the first day of taping in the new studio. I wanted to win a car but got a boat instead. Maybe I'll go on another game show and win a car to pull the boat. Lol.
RIP!! LOVE & MISS BOB BARKER DENNIS JAMES TOM KENNEDY JOHNNY OLSON & GENE WOOD & ROD RODDY!! ❤😢!!
That airplane would've crashed 1st time out!!!
The shell game like clock game 2 of the very first and original price is right games are still played in the drew Carrey era
I hate double overbids at the end.
This happened at least twice on the nighttime version. Here and, sadly enough, Dennis James' last hosted episode (195N).
All that packaged processed food!
She would have had to give some away in her neighborhood.
nighttime with DOB?
Happened on 125n also
Don't recall a night time version of tpir. Dennis James seems a little hurried with his speech and mannerisms compared to Bob Barker.
It’s interesting to see other hosts of classic Price. I thought Tom Kennedy did a nice job. Dennis James is competent but has more of an edge than Bob Barker or Kennedy and comes across a bit like a used car salesman.
Dumb comment
