Expensive to buy at £40 per tin. Personally haven't tried them and probably wouldn't. Pickled herring isnt bad though but a far cry from fermented sostroming. Well done lad

Hi Danny, we love your show you should be on TV. If you ever get to Heywood Greater Manchester, please try Tandoori Plaza, their food is absolutely delicious, and excellent hygiene rating. In my opinion it is the best takeaway in the North West and I am extremely fussy.

As a swede who loves surströmming and eats it minimum once every summer, like the smell is so rancid so the flies LOVES IT, but tbh it doesn’t smell that bad but you gotta open it under water. But if you wonder how you correctly eats it, you gotta clear out the meat of the fish, put it on hard bread with sour cream, potatoes, cheese, onions, tomatoes and some more optional things like the roe from the fish. But some people like my step dad eats the meat with just potatoes.
