  • How to get the IRS to remove penalties and interest for personal income taxes is very easy. If you are asking how can I get the IRS to waive penalties and interest, this is the perfect video for you.
You need to give reasonable cause. Reasonable cause is an acceptable excuse that is valid in the eyes of the IRS or State.
Please watch this video if you want to know how to get IRS penalties waived. You need to know what are valid reasons for not filing taxes (reasonable cause) and what will work for creating an IRS penalty abatement letter. This is especially effective for first time penalty abatement circumstances.
This video is great for eliminating the late filing penalty or removing the late payment penalty. Surprisingly, this will actually work more often than not so please give it a try because you really don't have anything to lose in making this attempt of the removal of the penalty. So please attempt the IRS penalty abatement!

Hi, thank you for this video - I just learned about estimated tax payment requirements last night... in the process of doing my taxes (surprise! 😲). I'm hesitant to share details on an open forum (would love to get your contact info if you give it! / could go into further depth), but suffice to say we had a one-time dramatic increase in AGI through withdrawing from our traditional IRA and, while learning abt the 10% early withdrawal penalty, I never saw or heard any mention of estimated tax payments in all of my research & even (several) consultations w financial professionals. With an otherwise great tax payment history, can simply not knowing about this requirement usually suffice? I also learned last night about form 2210, which sounds like a proactive way to "talk abt this" w the IRS when we file our taxes? Thanks so much for any help you can give!!

A friend's wife claimed innocent spouse. I don't know anything about it but it worked for her.

I made a phone call to get my failure to pay penalties removed. It was granted for one year but not the other year. So I paid everything off. I received a letter in the mail in reference to their decisions a few days afterwards. I missed the appeal date. The denial letter states "If you don't appeal you may file a claim for refund after you pay the penalty". Are they referring to submitting the 843 abatement form?

Thank you for this video. I just received a letter from the IRS and I would like to petition it. Can you please share the phone number to call for the IRS agent? Thank you for your time!!

The state has more penalties and interest than the original bill. Feels like highway robbery. I’m going to call them today to see if they will drop it

Man I owe the IRS money because I did not let them take taxes out my unemployment check because I did not know what was going on because of covid-19

The first $10,200 of Unemployment received in 2020 will be waived on the federal level. The IRS hasn’t released guidance on this yet but should in a week or two. On the State level isn’t waived though. This might be different for every state though. Also the IRS is looking to extend the filing deadline to mid May(15th or 17th)

I heard bankruptcy does NOT erase money owed to the IRS. Is that incorrect?
