Yup, huge Dan-fan here!! His voice is phenomenal! And yes, his presence is so powerful. He can do it all, from opera (Nessun Dorma), to Broadway (Phantom of the Opera), movie tracks (check out ones from The Witcher), he can even cover songs I thougt no one could touch (check out his "Immigrant Song" ~ Led Zeppelin and "Bring Me to Life" ~ Evanescence). He is amazing!

Dan just turned 800K subs! Congratulations Dan! I love this song. My other big time favorite is Dawn of Victory ft. Fabio Lione (Rhapsody cover). Fabio is a huge name in European and S American metal and he collaborated with Dan and Dan’s band Fearless. They filmed it in Dan’s garage. Symphonic Power Metal at it’s best! Thank you!
Yes! I've been watching the numbers for the past week, and he's clocking (as far as we can see) at least 1000 new subs per day. I calculate that if the impetus continues (and I don't see any reason it wouldn't--especially with the huge numbers of reactors working through his channel catalog) he will be able to hit the 1,000,000 mark that is his present goal, by the end of February. I also think that it will happen BEFORE then, because everyone else is getting on the bandwagon and encouraging others, as well! What fun!

I just watched that one recently and it was phenomenal. I'm not a Christian, but it was very moving, and his performance actually made me cry a little (I have video proof of that too! :D ). I definitely agree that it's worth watching.
I agree about Gethsemane. He has many sides, Gethsemane is his theatrical side, this is his fun side, his tender side brings his dads favourite song American Trilogy, which he sung just 5 days after his dad passed! Also Love Me Tender that he sung especially for an elderly man terminally ill who had been married many years and was a Dan fan. He seems very caring. Love videos and photos of him with his dogs. All this proves if you have the voice, and the technical knowledge

Or "Music of the night" from Phantom of the opera. For more Heavy Metal I would recommend "Bring me to life". And for classical music: "Nessun Dorma". He really can do anything. 😅 Want to see him doing a whole choir? Händel's "Halleluja" is great.
I'm pretty sure that in the description of Dan's original video, there's a list of the singers he collabed with for the video... I love everything that Dan has done, right from the first video of a very young, very green Daniel recording his audition for DragonForce, right up to the latest where he is the feature artist for Ricardo Confessori's "Where The Eagles Fly". It's a great way to see how far he has come as an artist and a person, and how much the training has paid off, both vocally and physically. He truly is determined and dedicated to being the best he can possibly be. "Dawn Over A New World" a DragonForce cover is a favorite of mine from Dan. It's a power song that he sings in a lovely tenor that's very clear and he shows such joy in this song. I usually start my day with this song❤
Dan is for sure an addicting artist to watch/listen to......try a Christmas song next - Adeste Fideles is awesome! Kiss from a Rose, Toss a coin, and the collab he did with Erik (lead singer of Skid Row) on a HEAT song is one of my faves too.....both guys made that sooooo fun!

The first thing I love about this reaction, is that you used the word "serendipitous!" Go, Josh! I'm a writer and a definite "word person." That's a word you just don't hear everyone use, these days. 😀 I'm also right there with you regarding everything you mentioned in the reaction. As for suggestions, my personal list would include any and/or all of his Christmas offerings. TOTALLY POWERFUL! His oldest one of those (as far as I've seen, at least), is Handel's "Hallelujah [Chorus]," from "The Messiah." He sings EVERY PART beautifully, as a 24-part one-man choir. It's not only absolutely stunning and spot-on in every way, his sense of humor shows up all over it. The more you watch it, the more you catch those little personal touches. He calls it his "act of insanity." I sang solo parts and sat in the highest reaches (top left in his video) for MANY years, through a myriad of Christmas "Messiah" productions. I've also helped teach parts for it, all the way down through bass. I used to have a 5-octave range that I'm working on recovering after many years of crippling rheumatoid arthritis, and finally have both hips replaced in 2017. It's a lot harder, now that I'm 73-1/2 years old, but I WILL do it! This is one reason I love watching Dan sing, now that I've discovered his channel. You can learn (remember) a LOT of techniques from watching and listening to him perform. \0/ Again, thanks for a great reaction.

The third guy (who cut gym) is the wonderful Peter Hollins. He has a huge catalog of acapella songs in which he layers tracks, singing hundreds of parts. I'm slowly getting my niece (14-ish) into metal (don't get me wrong she still 'hates' it almost religiously). She lives in another country (Me Dutch, she Dutch/Portugese). Her older brother is already in tha metal house. I consider it a job well done. But she's a very, very, very tough nut to crack (been trying for aeons and I've been wading through endless apocalyptic rivers and 19 millions circles of hell of pop music (fifty - fifty uncle Willy & don't nag, nag, nag !). But I believe Dan is slowly, slooooowly winning her around.
Getshemane, Burn Butcher Burn ! His Elvis trilogy is also brilliant but please, please, please none of of his Bon Jovi covers (a low point in Dan's career and he will freely admit it. Bon Jovi fgs :)
