    Thank you for taking the time to make this video. I have been going crazy with my CZ 75 PO1 having the same issues. I did not go through CGW but did a full spring kit replacement from MCarbo and it worked fine for about 300 rds before the double action reset shit the bed. I was planning to put all the original parts back in (providing I can find where I put them) on my next day off. This will hopefully fix the problem because from what I can tell it is exactly the same one. Thanks again.

    I experienced the same issue with mine. They’re actually pretty good to work on. Glad you got it fixed.

    Today I got same issue with totally fabric stuff, almost brand new (below 50 shots) and your video help me to fix that issue - although I only disassembled and assembled gun it somehow helps :)

    The original disconnector would have worked fine, but the kit come with a new one, so it should be used in combination with the rest of the rrk kit. I had the same problem, it would have been nice of someone mentioning this detail when ordering it, like you, it would have saved me hours trying to figure it out. BTY, thanks for the video and including updated call from CGW's.

    I had the exact same issue. Your video saved me. It took 3 attempts to get it working, and it's a bit of a drag to have to disassemble/assemble the gun each time, but with patience, I got there.

      @@mikebigley9011 Not exactly sure. I bought the Pro kit and it says it comes with the T6, So I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Give CGW support a call for help.

    Funny how this pops up after having the exact same issue after installing the Eemann Tech single action only trigger, reduced power trigger spring and removing the disconnector for single action only. After a little bit of fiddling around like you with the trigger bar i had to tweak and bend the trigger bar spring up to keep more upwards pressure on to the trigger bar. Hasn't missed a beat for 500 rounds now.

      @@millerslaw It's really good, i don't do ipsc so i figured I'll try it and i like it better than the stock. With a 9lb hammer spring and zero polishing i got between 2.4-2.9lb trigger pull weight

    I interchange parts all the time, lol. Sear becomes the disconnector, trigger becomes the hammer and the extractor becomes the ejector. Anyone that gunsmiths know what you were referring to.I recently bought a new Ultimate Eeman Tech trigger and have been filing away at the disco for the last couple days. Ran into the exact same problem with the CGW disco. Apparently they have one that is just a drop in part disco now. I think they leave a slight belly on the disco to facilitate fitting, one of the S2s it was a drop in part, the second required fitting. I’ve since ditched all my CGW parts for Eeman Tech.

    I have almost the same problem with my stock Shadow2SA. The Triggerbar is somehow stuck after slidemovement. If I touch the hammer, you notice a slight "click" and the triggerbar snaps in place.
    Still don't know where it's stuck. I don't have the disconnector, so maybe it'S the rear end of the triggerbar?

    Ordered a custom for left handed. I hope it’s as awesome as I have been told. My first and only gun is a fn502. Total junk. Sent it back and was unrepairable. They sent a new one and it’s having the same problem. I’m so disappointed.

    Great video ! Why the hell doesn't CGW sell parts that are ALREADY milled properly for the Shadow 2 ?!?!?! One size does not fit all ! I understand they sell a part that fits multiple models but they need to take the time to mill the parts for the particular model it is intended for when purchasing ! F CGW ! The Shadow 2 is BALLS ACCURATE right out of the box and the trigger is ridiculously buttery smooth ! I wasted good money for a very negligible difference ! Next time I will save my money for more ammo ! ✌

    • @arbyssauce
      @arbyssauce Před 2 lety

      It's specific to the reach reduction kit and manufacturing tolerances.
      It's a design from ~50 years ago. Parts aren't going to plug and play if you want them to fit right.
      Fitting parts is part of life, unless you consider replacing a connector in a glock a real trigger job.

    • @millerslaw

    I know this video is a few years old but out of curiosity did you maybe get the CGW disconnector for the CZ 75 series rather than for the Shadow series? I am looking into getting this for myself and while researching it I noticed they have two different disconnectors. The one for the CZ 75 series has a "hump" at the end; as you described. But the one for the Shadow series does not. Maybe they had a few complaints and came out with a new one since this video was created.
    Anyway thanks for the video! Hopefully I don't have to grind anything down on my install.

    • @millerslaw

      I bought the correct parts made specifically for the Shadow 2.

  • @clee6746
    @clee6746 Před 3 lety +1

    In that case, one component in your CGW kit is defective and that's why you have to spend so much time to figure it out. My CZ shadow 2 is still with all OEM parts except the neon blue grip panels, with no modification, it's working well and no malfunction at all.

    • @millerslaw
      @millerslaw  Před 3 lety

      Yes this is true as it was an issue with the CGW Disc. but I was easily able to fix it after calling them which I should have done in the first place and the whole reason behind making this video to help others. Also my fingers do not reach the trigger very well with the hammer down which it is required to be in competitive shooting so this was a must for me either way.

    Damn bro, u need a frying pan for a mag release to be able to hit it reliably? Like people try to upgrade their triggers to try to make up for jerking the trigger.. upgrades don't fix lack of training.
