Replacing Backup Battery Liftmaster 8500 Same Process For Most Liftmasters

Constant beeping on a new garage door opener typically means the backup battery needs to be replaced. Replacing the backup battery on a Liftmaster model 8500 is the same as doing it on many other Liftmasters / Craftsmans / and Chamberlains. A very easy process and the batteries aren't very expensive. When I finished hooking up the replacement, I noticed that flashing green light at the top right and didn't know what to do.
Reviewing your video again, I see that same blinking light as you button the system back.
I think I'm good to go and thanks again.

It does recharge while it’s in the unit, but it usually just lasts around 5 years
