- Hey everyone, Gabe here. Yes… it’s really true. Today is my last day working for Braille Skateboarding. This is an extremely difficult day for me, because today I start an entirely new career / path in my life. But I also have to say goodbye to 10 of the most incredible years of my life. Before I met Aaron I was a 14 year old kid who watched his videos and was inspired, just like all of you. A few skate supports later, I was an intern. A few years later we have a private skatepark and I officially became a full time Braille Skateboarding employee. Come 2018 and I became the CZcams manager for the Braille Skateboarding Channel, working the job of my dreams. Thinking like that kid from 10 years ago, it would be impossible for me to come up with the words that could express my gratitude to Aaron. Aaron is and will remain one of the closest friends that I will ever have and nothing will change that! It has been my absolute honor to have been a part of the amazing history of Braille Skateboarding. To anyone who has ever watched one of the videos, supported me, met me in person, or learned to skate because of Braille, I cannot thank you enough. As I close the curtains on this chapter of my life, I from the bottom of my heart love my Braille Family forever, and hope I made you all proud.

A whole lot of stuff on this channel wouldn’t have been possible if it weren’t for him. Gabe was always so inspiring to me. I loved seeing him grow and it was always special when he was shredding on camera, because he was always behind the camera.

Wow, I’m literally speechless. Gabe and the whole Braille team made me get back into skateboarding after a traumatic injury (broken leg) when I was younger. Braille is the only consistent You tube channel I have watched over the years. The videos never disappointed me and they were always fun to watch! Been watching braille since I was 27/28 and am now 39 and an old man. Its been Real!! We love you out here too Gabe!! Best of luck to whatever endeavors you seek!! I barely skate... im a 40 year old teacher and dad of 2.... but i found you content around 2020/pandemic time and your enthusiasm and charisma made the videos fun and entertaining to watch. I think the first one I watched was the glass skateboard video.
25 years old you are making the right choice. Life has seasons and they are hard to see end but there will be huge value in turning the page.

I remember when it was just Aaron, Gabe, and Lance doing live skate supports. Sad to see you go, but onto bigger and better things I'm sure.
This was hands down the most heartfelt departure to anything I have ever seen in my life; Taking into account the history and effort involved and Gabe's personality, that is visually evident, and verbally evident in each episode. I have no doubt Gabe will crush his goals and endeavors I just hope he taught the crew enough to be wild and crazy going forward with the content. He paved the way, he laid a fine pavement for Brail to move forward. He lived many peoples dreams and he will continue to inspire people to have dreams of their own. As a watcher for many years thank you so much for your dedication and ENERGY to hype and inspire folks of all ages to just skate.
