I have complained and inquired about this to no avail. The main reason I continue to order is because I like the hair but for the cost and quality decline I am definitely look at some alternatives.
yes, did you find an alternative @Carrie Bradshaw - I recently bought their products - since i can finally afford them - and i am disappointed with the quality. Smells and looks like the Chinese brands that are $150 less. Dang.
I have 3 bundles of the 20" for kurls from heat free hair. The texture at the roots is different from the texture on the ends. Her hair is long enough to cover that. However, the hair has sorta kept it's texture (* for me *). Would I recommend it? yes. Are there other weave brands that give similar results at a lower price? YES.

I am personally 100% satisfied with Heat Free Hair BUT I found a few other black owned natural hair companies that you can check out (I have no experience w/ these companies). dannie1020 When you unravel the extensions that will make the hair frizzy. But it's nothing that a rinse and detangle can't fix. The Shea-Moisture frizz-free curl mouse is what I use now, I like the results more than lotta body. But either one is fine. I let my hair air dry over night. When I made this u-part wig my hair was so frizzy, but I just did what is in the video to redefine the curls. And I was good. It works everytime.

I never wore weaves before and the first time I ever wore weave as a protective style was HeatFree Hair for Koils .My curl pattern is actually the for Kurls type of hair. I have invested recycled, colored and reused the same bundles for a year. Due to the current sale they are having and my need to protective style during the winter, mostly because I am a lazy natural, I just purchased 3 additional bundles. 14", 16" & 18". I promise you, you won't be disappointed.
I just purchased this hair and I plan to have it installed at the end of the month. Do you suggest “sealing” the wefts? I’ve never sealed Wefts before, but I’ve heard this expression used and suggested for pricey hair in the past, so I’m curious if you feel it’s necessary after owning it for an extended period of time?
Hmmm.... the hair held up pretty good for the 3 years or so that I used it. Honestly, I’ve never heard of sealing a weft until now. I think I know what that is but, I found that a simple wash, and detangle to refresh was good enough. Hope this help! 😊
positivenyone Yes, I honestly think it's the best kinky/curly hair on the market. It was so affordable. The stylist only charged my like $15. I'm sure it varies though! I also think she took into account that it was a wig.
Anonymous I have my little bit of leave out in top. The hair under my wig is parted down the middle into two sections. Both sections are in a simple two stand twist with the end of each twist bobby pinned to the opposite side of my head so it can lay somewhat flat. Hope that makes sense!!
