Theoretically - they're set up for high speed stability. The aerodynamics can't do much in a tunnel with an fool behind the wheel. He was probably wanting to do a loud acceleration in the tunnel so dropped it too many gears which locked up the rear wheels and caused a skid. Would never have happened in wn Austin Marstro Vandan Plas.
