Just because someone is not good to you, that does not mean they are not good. Sometimes you have to be the one that sets the standard for the community you're in. My mantra when it came to relationships last year was, "I deserve better." This statement is not a way to keep me isolated or hold things against people, it's an invitation to accept the right things into my life. Now when it comes to chosen covenant relationships this doesn't apply in the same way. Let me know your thoughts below.

This is so true! Before the new year I let go of some family and 2 people that called me their best friend. These relationships were not reciprocal and would only contact me if they needed something. But when I called just to check in they were never available. It frees up space for me to find my tribe. Thank you Glen!

Man this hit right in the heart at 1:18. I definitely come to realize that about myself, and it's a hard realization. I've had to personally remove myself from relationships I've cared about not because they were toxic but because I was the toxic person. It humbled me and made me really challenge my character and review to see if it align with God's
I am in that very space of lighting up my life. It took a lot of conversations, heartache, and tears to get to this point of my life because, quit a number of them are relative's. It in no way means, lost love. It does mean stop losing precious time I don't have. I thank the Lord for allowing me to turn 54 yesterday 🙌🏽🙌🏽 PRAISE HIM 🙌🏽🙌🏽

Yes! It's so easy to vilify people when it's not necessary. I recently had an old friendship return just to realize that I no longer desired to have that friendship anymore. Did my best to explain to them that I didn't believe they were a bad person, the friendship just didn't feel like a step in the right direction. Thanks for that confirmation Glen 💙

I needed this extra reassurance. I have now made it a positive habbit to let go of People, Places, Job, Situations etc and things that are no longer in vibrational alignment with who I am or becoming. I just don't resist any natural changes that is happening anymore, I trust my spritual guides. I am excited to find my tribe.

I had an epiphany last night too. I realized that the time in my life I felt loneliness the most was when I was with my ex. I’m a hardcore introvert, I’m ok with having very few friends. Loneliness in general isn’t really a feeling I get. We only saw each other twice a week at most and barely talked on the phone. I was committed to her because we had a past and she was my first. Looking back she never felt as close to me as I did her; she also had horrible trust issues but that’s besides the fact. I cared about her, she made me think she cared a lot, she neglected my feelings and never showed strong affection. I still miss her, but I know she’s not the one for me
