You all should look into Socionics and someone should have that President take the Socionics test. I bet he's an INFp or INFj or ENFj....
The P takes a lot of the political drama head on, club on club, chapter on chapter, and in some cases brother on brother drama so the brothers who are just soldiers can do what brothers do and have a good time. Sometimes we dont have a chance to hang out at events due to this task. We are the voice of our chapter and sometimes our club depending on the area your in. The brothers who elected you to that position need to trust you’ll make the right calls for the best interests of the chapter or club if it comes as a split second decision thats not able to be voted on. The P looks like its easy cause most of our work is behind the scenes. Unlike the Sgt who everyone sees working as the security for the club, or the treasurer who everyone sees selling t shirts, The P might be seen walking off with another brother to talk about an issue or plan an event. But at the end of the day. ANY officer position serves the table the rest of the brothers eat at.

another banger bro,great leaders have loyal followers,loyal followers stand by great leaders,its not always gonna be a popular decision but a respected one if you have that shown that type of leadership,i had the chance to see a great scenario unfold where the pres was hashing out an argument between 2 members he said to the complaining person let me hear from you 1st then he said let me hear from you to the guy that was being complained about,he never once said what's your side to either one so when they came up the resolution neither one could say "you picked his side" because he never saw it as 2 sides but as an issue between 2 of them & that kind of thinking comes from wisdom & experience it really showed me the burdensome nature of navigating the politics of it all but lessons well learned & at the end of it all he said put it behind you so it don't stay between you,i was in aww of the impact that the the right words for the right person can have,and then on the other end of it absolute power corrupts absolutely,its a fine line to walk but heavy lies the crown being king is a blessing & curse,just my thoughts from my experiences,but real as real gets & good to see that your not just telling about the good times people only see from the outside,SALUTE enjoy the holidays bro

It seems that in the MC culture, there’s a better understanding of delegating work and checks and balances. In a sense, it’s a better system than the one we have in place. I’ll even say that it’s an ideal “system” so to speak. It’s a true democracy.

#Ghostin #President Good word ChopperSosa. Ideally the president came up through the ranks. He might have been an SA or a VP first. I think the pres has to be level headed. Over time, the chapter will reflect the personality of its president to some extent because of that leadership role.

#ghostin. Great topic. I had been a P, of a non-M/C club for many years. I can say from experience, all points stated are true and do not just pertain to the M/C side. Any P should know that it is in fact a job and not a pass to just sit back and relax. In my experience, those that dont want the job are the ones you want in those positions.
Yeah, my first club had a very bad president. By his own admission, he has very bad PTSD from his military experience. He and his old lady (treasurer) were always fighting in front of the members. They were both way too high strung. They also had their "favorites" in the club, which really caused an uneasy feeling. At one point, an entire chapter quit because of them. My second (current club) president is just the opposite. Firm, but fair. He communicates with everybody in the club, and he treats everyone equal and with respect. This is my family.
Really enjoy all these videos and history - regularly use these as guidance and direct all club members and officers to watch all this to get a better understanding and realization of what the real life is
