I did that, and surprisingly even though i sent the core in first they still refunded me.
I was literally gonna comment and ask if y'alls GD was a leaf spung or independent suspension. I'd be looking into the 8K lb/axle Morryde Independent suspension system. Especially with a heavy setup like y'alls and you double tow, y'all could also opt for the disk brakes option as well. It's pricey but worth it, IMO, for people who travel a lot and especially for full-timers who boondock a lot. Y'all have a killer setup and I hope the starter issues are solved now.
I wish we had the independent and disk brakes. Would be a lot let stressful finding boondocking spots and not having to worry about the suspension. We’ve broken two hangers now

I replaced the axles on my 5er with 8K torsion cattle trailer axles with hydraulic disk brakes. Best upgrade I ever did.
Brutal!!!! We came down to Sand Hollow last Saturday and Sunday. We hit crazy bad weather the whole way. Trucks flipped over on I-15 and all kinds of traffic problems.

We will ride here all day tomorrow, and maybe Monday morning. I’m going to skip the weekend to avoid the crowds. I’ll use the time to stock up before we head over to Moab.
Last time we were here was last December. October is too crowded for me.
