They depreciate so quickly for the same reason they catch fire all the time - they don't. I've been trolling every source of cars in New England, and late model Teslas and Mach Es are still too high to buy 1-2 years old with less than 20K miles (the only way I'll buy a car - and for cash).
Based on your knowledge on cars I do not trust a single thing you have to say about investing or selling you have zero clue why these are going down in value, people just don’t want em
I think used EVs are a big unknown on reliability. People who buy used cars are smart and conservative. I’ve got a 55k mile R1T and it’s been flawless. The battery warranty of 175,000 miles is insane. If you live in a state that forces autos to have huge warranties then EV is a no brainer. Especially a used one that’s half the price. Like a 2020 model 3 for $20k

Still too much money and wages haven't kept up, all I see is debt rolling around, forever prayers no savers, get bank to work debt slave. Define affordable.
If you're an early adopter in a rapidly advancing product, what exactly do you expect? Nobody wants your car when they can buy a new one that has much better tech. Don't bleat if you have too much money and too little intelligence to work this out.
Remember, someone was quoted 60k for a Hyundai EV battery replacement.

The Taycan has depreciated yeah. But the Maserati range have fallen through the floor.
I don't want pay more than 20k for a people mover/daily driver. They can keep it
Great video! Very informative.
They depreciate acording to what they are... just a bigger cellphone that can also move.
Fast. Very fast.

Gas price are low right now??? What😂
It should by "Why do Taycons depreciate So Much"
Or why do Maseratis depreciate so much?
Not as much as Maseratis.
Nobody does not want to buy these used garbages
So everyone does want to buy one?
