There are tons of people living in NYC who can't name the 5 boroughs. They'll start naming neighborhoods within NYC, or naming suburb towns like White Plains. I'll bet you less than 75% of people in NYC would name all 5 and only the 5. I can only name them because I'm interested in geography and have visited NYC many times.
