Amazing that the actress who played the manipulative journalist had no acting experience. She was fantastic, and a lot of fun to watch. Hands down my favorite character in the entire movie.

Mary, Klavan actually mentioned your interaction on his show. He said he couldn't curse in front of a lady, no matter your age, he would not have said the line. He didn't mean to offend you, but thought he had. I thought you handled it really well, compared to what I was afraid happened based on what he said.
Klaven is all class! I should read his books, but he apparently has SO many!
The 23 year old woman reporter and her male colleague have done a great job asking good questions and handled the situation well when they didn't get the answer. Bravo!

This was actually a really good interview clip thingie. The questions asked were interesting and the cast of the movie, not being pros, were very down to earth.
Movie itself was decent by hollywood standards. In other words, DW is on the right track with this; definitely not a fumble and I look forward to seeing more of their stuff
Klavan said in his podcast the real reason he didn’t say the line for the interview is he doesn’t like to swear in front of women. I think that is a respectable position to take, however unpopular in our current culture.

DW should just sell the movie for $10-$20 as a singular package.
The forced annual subscription is kinda ridiculous.
Rumor is they tried to get it distributed it on the traditional circuit, but NOBODY would even touch the movie out of fear of reprisals on them. That is also why you see so many DailyWire staff in this movie - they also had a problem finding actors to play in it because of the subject matter. The DailyWire is kinda forced to put everything they make on their streaming service not only because they need it for production costs of future projects, but because not many places are willing to carry their products.
Also, the actual issue is that if the DW should ever close their doors as a company, all their cultural products would be lost, since it's all on their own streaming service with no secondary or tertiary markets that distribute their products beyond the streaming service.
I’m sure they will eventually release it on X. I’m sure if theaters were willing to show it, the DW would totally put it in theaters. They couldn’t even get actors who were willing to do it.
So this is the best option to make money on it. They’ll probably put it out on X in a year or so, just like with ‘What is a Woman’.
@@sigmacademy Why don't they sell it as a digital download on their own website? They can't claim it promotes piracy, because Lady Ballers is already sailing the rough seas... which totally not where I watched it. I think we all knew the Hollywood industrial arm of BlackRock wouldn't touch this film before it was even conceptualized, and it seems odd that DW didn't already know this and plan around it.
FWIW, I didn't care for the movie, as the messaging was WAY too heavy-handed. I more prefer the lighter comedy style of Ryan Long, and how he portrays his thoughts. It was however neat to see some of the non-left influencers out of their usual routine, but that's about it.

I saw the movie. It wasn't Hollywood quality but still good for a $7M budget. It was funny and the jokes were relatable with current events. Goes to show you don't need a lot of money to produce a good scripted comedy. Take note Hollywood.

Never saw an episode of this channel before. Kinda amateur but kiddos to have the boldness and courage asking the questions. Some of the questions were kinda weak and so was the face (reaction) of the interviewer. The questions for Riley and Billie Rae were very good and the exchange had good chemistry. Overall good video, loved seeing the offstage of the premiere. Congrats on your 500th episode. Best of luck on your channel and creating more content.
