I have never clicked on a video so fast. I LOVE the Phlur Strawberry Letter - my friends keep saying it's "you, in a fragrance", mostly because it's strawberry + dirt/grass. I'm a gardener, so not sure if that's a compliment from them or not. Adding more to the wish list!

The smell is dirt/grass and tomato leaf, which I love, but I know some people hate the smell of the tomato leaves even if they love tomato, so I wanted to clarify 🤗🍅

Both are great in their own way but Elixir is defo creamier and more strawberry forward. You get more of the fruits coming thru with og Her. And it's not strawberry but the Her EDT is good also- crisp pear, think GIAW vibes. I just love most Burberry fragrances

My fave strawberry scent is Michel Germaine Sugarful, the original in the pink bottle. Full on strawberry cotton candy. A sweet strawberry bomb. No complexity, nothing unique. But if you want strawberry and you don't want to mess around, that one is IT.
Not powdery like Aqualina or Melanie Martinez Cry Baby, not quite as smooth as B&BW Strawberry Pound Cake with the touch of vanilla, not floral or syrupy or too dense or sickly but definitely sweet sweet strawberry, as intense and pronounced as a strawberry could possibly be.
My favorite strawberry perfume is Kate Spade New York EDP - It's like fresh strawberries being picked in a field surrounded by lemon trees and fresh greenery - but still has that perfumy feel. It's DELICIOUS for spring and summer!
Omg I didnt know how much I needed this video! Since I picked up Strawberry Snowflakes from last holiday from Bath and Body Works, I realized I actually do like strawberry as long as its creamy and not too aromatic. Id love to see more single-note focus videos! Im a big fan of woods myself, as well as citrus and, recently, pear!
Same! Strawberry Snowflakes made me want a strawberry perfume but, like Lauren, nothing has been right.

Loved the video! Its SO HARD to find a good strawberry perfume. Its trending rn, but its not a common note for sure. Its also really hard to accurately capture the scent. I feel the same way about osmanthus notes.
oh my gosh “La Croix Strawberry” is the perfect way to describe the Malin+Goetz one!! lol you always have the best way of randomly but accurately getting the vibe of these perfumes spot on
The GOAT is Miss Dior Cherie. Wish they’d bring it back. My second fav is Burberry Her Elixir. It’s wonderful!! 🍓

I bought Miss Dior Cherie when I was broke and in college. My first ever Nordstrom purchase. I had no clue, but I was in love. I still have 1/2 bottle the left and use only for special occasions. I lost the beautiful cap during a move though. I wish they would bring it back so I don’t have to baby it.
Burberry her is my signature scent! lol I used to only wear Versace bright crystal but I’ve moved more towards Burberry her as my adult working woman scent!
Another great perfume with strawberry in the notes is Xerjoff “La Capital” but VERY expensive. I love it!!
I prefer B&BW strawberry snowflakes to the strawberry pound cake. In fact I’m a little addicted to it. I love it at bedtime especially. I always wonder why it doesn’t get any hype 🍓🍰🤤
Unfortunately Burberry Her the OG did not win me over but the Elixir is one I recently picked up after getting a sniff and wear at Sephora during the VIB sale, it’s a whole different experience it’s a more Creamy Strawberry 🍓 reminds me of a strawberry milkshake or a strawberries and cream dessert but in a very wearable beautiful and elegant way….this one is for the more Gourmand lovers for it is way more creamy, richer and sweeter than the OG

this actually makes a lot of sense, not many places actually put out a strawberry perfume, which is actually suprising, so I'm not surprised you haven't found many that you love
The burberry her elixir is my #1 perfume!! Its definitely a toned down fruity, sweet scent. Its my most complimented perfume!
Love the strawberry bourbon bath and bodyworks. Love the chronic rouge and the new Miss Dior PARFUM
Lush American Cream is a great fragrance with strawberry notes along with vanilla and cream. I love it!

Man, I was so CHEESED when Phlur released strawberry letter only on their website and there was no option to ship internationally. Secretly and bitterly, I wished "I hope it smells like dirt" as a way to make myself feel better for not being able to purchase it.

I don’t get dirt at all from strawberry letter. To me, it’s a jammy strawberry that’s also got a bit of a powdery quality. I really like it!
i love the bbw strawberry hand sanitizer too… talking about how you perceive scents and palette changing, wait til perimenopause/menopause starts. i have unopened bottles of former faves just collecting dust. i love berry scents, but am ridiculously picky now. i do prefer Her EDT over the other intensities.

One of my strawberry favourites is mukhallat by Montale. Its a powerful strawberry and vanilla, but it is not for the faint hearted!

I wore Daisy for soooo long when I was younger and I never knew there was a strawberry note!! Also strawberry pound cake is one of my favorite candles from babw, the introduction of cherry blossom pound cake however has given it a run for its money

You might like Fraaagola Saalaaata by Hilde Soliani. I bought on Lucky Scent.
No actual leaf notes in it, it's strawberry and salt.
The strawberry is realistic, not artificial or sweet (similar to M&G), and the salt note comes off almost leafy. The salt adds almost a marine or aquatic note so the strawberry smells almost wet.
The phlur strawberry letter may be your fav as well! It kind of gives off strawberry and earthy girl vibes. Like walking in a farmers market where they’re selling strawberries, handmade soaps, and a little bit of incense. It kind of gives off that vibe! 🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓
for a better price point if you can find it if you’re located near a TJMaxx/Marshall’s, I’d recommend Strawberry Icing from Tru Fragrances! unlike the name, it’s a veryyyy garden-y strawberry. I typically like a gourmand strawberry scent but this one is nice when I want something a little more earthy! when I smell it, I literally think strawberry with the green stem attached

Strawberry Snowflakes body mist by BBW is the absolute best strawberry fragrance I’ve ever tried. It’s sweet, refreshing, feminine but not too syrupy or Cakey. Low key a masterpiece

Have to recommend where the wild things grow by Sorcellerie Apocathery! She used to have two versions, but the one that made it into her permanent collection almost smells like a strawberry cream soda, minus the syrupy-ness. Sorcellerie is a great house to try if you want to get into indies!

burberry her in the pink bottle is one of my favorite perfumes, and i wasn’t a fan of the original whatsoever. i got the travel of strawberry letter when it restocked, and there’s a time and a place for it, and i know it’ll get a bit more use during the summer. i would LOVE to try the byron chronic fragrance, because the notes look absolutely delicious!!! daisy’s just not for me anymore. i’d LOVE for you to make a marshmallow video!!! pleaseeeee?!?! 🍓🍓🍓
I would agree that Eau so Intense is more syrup-y. I'm wearing it for my wedding as a nostalgic scent for my future husband who met me when I wore Daisy Dot.
So, because I am a Fraser and the name comes from Strawberry 🍓 (fraise) it is a favoured flavour. It is not always a favourite fragrance note. Even natural strawberries have a “must” that isn’t always pleasant. I want to get my nose on the Anna Sui fragrance. If I had to pick one strawberry forward fragrance I own. I would pick Cape Heartache.

Best strawberry perfumes for me are Venim Incarnate and Jousset Perfumes Accident A La Vanille - Creme De La Berry.

@@abbydreps9025 Every so often, they'll send out an email about a deal -- usually it's a collection of fragrances. It looks like the strawberry one's done now, and they're doing a collection of mother's day ones that's not as exciting. Sometimes, the bundles are really good; sometimes not as much. But when they hit, *they hit*. :D
(Also, if you have a huge queue, they sometimes do a deal where you can buy 4 in your queue and get a 5th free, which I always seem to fall for. :D)

I just picked up Fraise Fouette over the weekend and really like it. I get the strawberry ice cream scent on my skin, not the powderiness (thank goodness! I am not a fan of powderiness. That's what kills Boardwalk Delight for me. 😢). Interestingly, I love FF and can't stand B&BW's Strawberry Pound Cake. It gets so sour milk on my skin. I do love Strawberry Snowflakes though. I am definitely going to have to check out that Violet Vibe. It sounds right up my alley! What do you think of B&BW's Gingham Gorgeous? I love the strawberry in that one, but think the rest of it is a little much. I wish it was more focused on the strawberry. Thanks for the video!
Coach Love is another strawberry. It’s a wild strawberry so a little different.
Yesss, I doesn’t have that « Coach » smell all their perfume seems to have. But for the price I feel it’s very very similar to Cacharel (maybe Yes I Am or Yes I am bloom up! I’m not sure which one)

I've smelled nine Imaginary Authors fragrances so far and Cape Heartache is my hands-down fave! I get the forest and woody scents WAY above any strawberry though, I absolutely do get a Forks/Twilight vibe and the scent is inspired by the Pacific Northwest so that totally tracks. For me it is a spring/fall version of Ellis Brooklyn's Apres, which is my fave scent for the holidays. Anyone who likes that one will likely really enjoy Cape Heartache imo. It definitely has more of the transitional season rain, dampness, wet forest floor vibe - NOT in a stinky way, more of the freshness of nature just after the rain. To me it's a forest scent much moreso than a strawberry scent but it has just enough sweetness to keep it balanced.
I moved from LA to Washington and when you were describing Cape Heartache, I immediately thought it sounded like you were describing western Washington, so yes Twilight haha.
I've had the opposite experience with Burberry Her. When i first smelled it a few years back, i really really liked it, ended up buying a little 1 ounce bottle but the more i wore it, the more i got that sharp scent on my skin. It might just be the way it mixes with my body chemistry but i just really started to dislike the scent. I eventually passed it on to my sister who loves it but yeah, funny how that works ^^
I've been on a hunt for a good strawberry and haven't found it either. I want to smell like creme savers or the strawberry pound cake lotion though

I know that Daisy is a little bit juvenile and overdone, but I still love it. It’s one of the first real perfumes I ever owned. I wore it on my wedding day about 5 years ago because my husband associated it with when we started dating
My nose is probably messed up from sinus issues but I gave the Fraise Fouettee to my daughter. I tried to love it but I kept getting strawberry incense or tree car air freshener. SadlyI just couldn’t get it to work for me. My daughter loves it so not a waste at least

My go-to strawberry is soooo basic: B&BW Strawberry Soda. Smells exactly like it says -- Welch's.
I want to try the Malin + Goetz, but I don't like perfume oils, & even trying to find a sample of the EDP is so expensive!

I agree with phlur strawberry letter not being a love. I’m not quite sure what it is, but I’m not impressed.. I think when someone said it reminded them of picking strawberries and I jumped at it, but I think it’s too synthetically sweet for me? I don’t wear it as much as I thought I would but I don’t want it to go to waste so I layer it with my other perfumes.

@@thejulietocean I feel this! I hyped it up in my head as well, esp after seeing people say it smells so good. I dislike it out of all of my perfumes and wish I didn’t get suckered in. Normally, I smell things before a blind buy but so many CZcamsr and redditors said it’s a safe blind buy and I feel duped. Had I smelled it in person, I would have known it’s not for me… but now I have to struggle to wear it to my husband doesn’t scold me for spending $ on something that I didn’t end up liking lol

I think Fraise fouettee smells like strawberry Yoplait. I'm surprised you didn't mention Burberry Her Elixir Lauren! Strawberry pound cake is so good! The body shops (rip 😢) strawberry is pretty good also.

Have you tried montale mukhallat? Its the most potent artificial strawberry ive ever smelt but i was obsessed with it when i first got my nose on it. My nephew said i smelt like strawberry scented air freshener 😂

Hi Lauren have you smelled Misty you’re absolutely blooming? It’s definitely got Peony and rose but it also smells of strawberries and that note seems to get stronger as it dries down at least for me. You should get your nose on that one and let us know what you think.
